They might survive. They got these stores called Think Geek. Only 40 in the United States and they are a collectors dream. Just went in one yesterday. Maybe that could be the reason there getting figures early because of the Think Geek store. They sell only figures and collectibles only. Would be a good transition for them.

I'm beginning to lose patience and faith when it comes to finding Dani. I've hit half a dozen Walgreens multiple times each over the last week. The ones that actually have had the pegs marked for her and Emma had them filled today...with yellow Daredevils. :(

On a positive note, though, my Retro Storm arrived from Amazon today. Got her for $17 and change, plus tax. Free shipping. I was never a big fan of this costume (it's the puffy sleeves, I think), but I've always adored the character, so I didn't want to not have her.

You lucky you got Storm for that much! I could not wait, I felt like she was going to be hard to find so I paid close to 40 for her on Evil Bay...Dani, yeah, have searched hi and low for her, but no luck, I been trying to be more patient with her, but it looks like I might pay 40 for her also...But, it may seem like a lot to pay 40 a piece for Storm and Dani, but hey, driving around town hitting up 10 different Walgreens becomes costly on gas, too! Answer: because it’s a awesome X/Mutant character that gives you the choice between makin 3 characters(Granted you might have to custom one to make it 100% accurate). That’s why people are needing multiples preferably people want 3 to make all three. But Walgreens exclusives are not the easiest things to find. So you’re probably gonna resort to tradin or ebay. Look up the character on Marvel wiki or something

Yah, I watch toy hunt videos on youtube and this collector in Florida went inside a Think Geek store and I was like... what store is that? LOL. Definitely looked cool in there.

Patience is impossible for me. Paid 35 for Beast... a month later saw him at Best Buy for 20 and felt sick... that is the only time I ever saw Beast at retail though. Caved and bought Retro Storm for 35 a few weeks ago after holding out for like two months almost... just saw her for the first time ever at retail a couple days ago at Gamestop. I envy people that can just wait it out. I know the double packed characters you can be patient with like Gambit and Night Crawler... but everyone else... I get too paranoid about missing them.

The good thing though is now that I have finished off my main 90's X-men display... I have found that I don't really care about Legends as much anymore... so I can just chill out now probably and just wait for the Sunspot wave.

I wonder if the Cuckoos will be the same way or if the New Mutants are more popular than them. I've haven't seen Dani Moonstar yet, but I never even saw Emma either. The thing is I don't think our local Walgreens ever got them in because I don't seem them being scalped locally either like all the previous Walgreens exclusives were... it is like nobody here has them. I wonder if they will restock them come Christmas time. I remember last Christmas was crazy... I found Silver Surfer, Thing, Magik and a restocked Mr. Fantastic all within the span of a month and all at the same two Walgreens.

I just don’t get it guys, I’ve had two retro storms on my bst thread on here for over a month. All I was looking for was cost and shipping as I like to hope if I pay it forward to other collectors when the time comes they will look out for me on an item I may not get In my area.
I was lucky enough to come across 5 retro storms at different times so I snagged them. One to open, one to keep on card, I traded one already. And still have the two. May customize one to the black costume if Hasbro doesn’t make her.

I also have multiple in demand figures (or were) in my sales thread. I don't think that people are purposely ignoring them. I think that people tend to not want to wade through multiple threads or use the search tool trying to find the right combination or trustworthy seller. Also, plenty of people still prefer to find the figures themselves. I know I do.

I just post things to my sales thread and every now and then mention it here. There's definitely more traffic here but I prefer not using this thread too much to advertise because it kinda feels douchey.

And most the time I’d rather trade than sell as I also trust the guys in here before some of the Facebook groups.

Big Bad Toystore has Emma Frost for $29.99. I went ahead and ordered it. Walgreens in Virginia have not received any new exclusives in over 6 months. Found a McFarlane Harry Potter figure for my Girlfriend.

To those looking for Dani and Emma. Check Rite aid if you’ve got any in town. My friend sent me a pic of his store having them. I haven’t had any luck whatsoever so far but ya might.

A fair price would be $30, that's $20 for the figure, $2 for tax and $8 for shipping, which it's probably going to be a bit less for shipping, the extra $1-3 would be profit. But it depends on how hard you had to work to find her. If it was a struggle for you to find her as well, I would mention that out of honesty and maybe charge as much as $40 including shipping and tax. Anything more than that's just unnecessary scalping.

Granted, I paid A LOT more than that for the first one, because I HAD to be sure I got at least one and was anxious I wouldn't, so it does depend on how desperate a person is.

That’s what I did with Gambit(Caliban wave) I bought him for $25 at my comic shop thinkin I wasn’t gonna find him and he turned out to be a massive peg warmer. For me Walgreens exclusives are either Super easy to find like Mr fantastic or Impossible Silver surfer. They’re always hit or misses for me. Could be worse I guess. It could be like Walmart and be no where.
