Yeah, nothing weird. Probably mostly because box 1 went up a little late (as the Build series is brand new).

As a comparison, SoDo Ex Aid boxes came out around 1.5 to 2 months apart.

Ex-Aid's SO-DO waves were one month apart on the last week of each month. I'm about to show my nerd as I do have the release dates for every wave (not including PB sets).

Stage 1 - 11/22/16
Stage 2 - 12/13/16
Stage 3 - 1/24/17
Stage 4 - 2/28/17
Stage 5 - 3/28/17
Stage 6 - 4/24/17 (this is the only one I'm unsure of, but this is the Monday after AmiAmi took my payment for it, so I believe it might only a day or two off)
Stage 7 - 5/30/17
Dai SO-DO - 6/19/17
Stage 8 6/27/17
Stage 9 - 7/25/17)
Stage 10 - 8/21/17 (this was up for preorder on AmiAmi months ahead of time. Before Stage 8)
Build 1 - 9/25/17 (see below)
Build 2 - AmiAmi says Oct 2017. I'm betting the 24th.

So yeah, month apart. This is why I got burned out on this line. There's just to much to fast. I really hope Build slows things down at some point (maybe when Kyuranger's line starts they could alternate months or Build could take a break). For the record, Ex-Aid is the first time this has happened. All previous candy toy lines like this were about 2 months apart and didn't go over 4 waves (Gaim had 6, but 2 were EX waves).



Anyways, SO-DO Build 1 boxes 3 and 4 are Gorilla and Diamond as expected. They come with the stand and the drill sword weapon thingy instead of the dummy body. Again Release date for the wave is 9/25/17.

Also, here's the line up for SO-DO like Kyuranger line. I believe it's called "Action Figure Brave Kyuranger", but that's a rough translation from Google. The line up is Red, Ho-Oh, and whatever Red's Orion form is called.

Yeah...I'm out on these Kyuranger figures. I hate Lucky and he's 2/3rds of the wave with no promises of a 2nd wave. If I see a Ho-Oh Soldier alone, I might get that but I'm not buying Lucky without the rest of the team.

Eh, seems promising at the very least. At the end they say they hope to do more so I'll do my best to support it.

Looks like, at least initially, Build will have a similar release schedule. SoDo Build 1-4 have already been put up at AmiAmi, with one box a month being released.

I'm really liking Build's designs, so I'll be picking them all up.

I got the payment request for the first BUILD wave... literally two minutes before I paid it. I didn't even know, though! I was just on the site pre-ordering the Kyuranger figures and it said I had a payment to make. I was like "that's weird I don't remember seeing an email about this... Got my box today. Was your set unbalanced as well? I got three Rabbits and only one Hedgehog (2 of the rest).

I'm impressed how the combining gimmick works. Even with the gimmick, the articulation is slightly better than the Ex-Aid SoDo figures, with an added waist joint.

Yeah I got the same.

I spoke too soon on the label application. After the first two boxes (a Rabbit and a Tank) all of the others had apparently lost a lot of their stickiness! I had to GLUE some of them on!

I've had that happen too, seemingly randomly with most candy figures. I use a regular Elmer's glue stick which seems to do the trick.
