Holy S#/t, I think Mcfarlane might give us Tim Drake in his original Robin costume!

Look at the shoulders and boots on the Gold Label Robin. For the boots, the toes are split and the boot cuff is high on the outside of the calf. And despite having long sleeves, this figure is clearly molded with short sleeves. Also, the torso looks more armored, which was feature on Tim’s original suit due to Jason dying.

None of the sculpted details match any of Tim’s costumes post Infinite Crisis/52 weeks. And I wouldn’t put it past Mcfarlane to resculpt a belt and a cape.

Yep. My thoughts exactly. This is listed as the Red Suit Variant. I think it was assumed that it was a variant of the winged suit, but it's clearly a variant of the classic costume. I couldn't be more stoked.

As for the Gold Label version, I can see a couple of fixes for the sleeves on the upper arms.
1. Shave off the hem/cuff of the sleeve with an X-Acto knife so that it's flush with the bicep. It'd probably still look a little off but it would look more natural.
2. Paint the short sleeve black so that it looks more like Robin's costume from TNBA.
- The only problem then is that you would have to paint the skin on the arm. Personally, I've always struggled to find a skin tone that matches most factory paint jobs. It's either too pale or too warm and I've never had any luck mixing those two skin tone shades.

Sweet christmas that looks like dookie. I wish wally, the REAL ONE, would keep his rebirth outfit ( it was really cool ), barry would retire, new 52 wally would just vanish and hunter zolomon show up to pester wally but really help hom out against baddies. Oh and give godspeed his own book.
