Removed the recent exchange regarding Tariffs. While an occasional mention about it when it comes up related to toys theoretically is ok, going back and forth about it as a concept in the Marvel Toys News thread is not.

There are tariffs. Prices are higher because of tariffs. Retailers are raising prices because of tariffs. Manufacturers may raise prices because of tariffs.

All of that is known. I would avoid talking about that.

If any new information comes out that directly affects toys, and specifically in here - Marvel Legends, feel free. However, if it goes into socio-political back and forth, it's getting deleted.

Where is the exact line? No clue. All this is a murky shit pile. If I read 45 posts in a row about tariffs, put money on it going bye bye.

Prices for action figures whether they're Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers and Marvel Legends, prices have always gone up way before frikkin tariff.

I by the way do get tired of other people bringing up tariff this tariff that. Just shut the f up about it already. Prices for action figures have always gone up way before that. Sometimes companies that own certain properties refuse to make toys or other merchandise even though they know people want merchandise made, they refuse. That's how companies like Lim toys and SooSoo end up making unlicensed 1/6 scale figures. TbLeague/Phicen has done that as well.

The recent renders look fantastic, I'm curious how sharp the sculpt and digi paint come out, if it makes you go "ooh nice" like these renders do. If so, and consistent, it's a nice incremental step up by the ML team.

What I really don't like is that a misinformed narrative that the moderators agree with is allowed to be ranted on constantly, & when there's pushback suddenly all comments are being deleted, & the moderators give out a passive aggressive statement taking a side, thus getting in the final word. With a definitive "this is happening" when it all is rumor & speculation at this point & no effects could've happened yet, & these premature rumors tend to be false.
I can't even give news that are an alternative for price hikes, like the changing of shipping lanes due to Houthi attacks, or news that the surcharge on BBTS is being removed or changing or whatever vaguery?
My point was always that I'm sick of this rumor without ACTUAL effects on the market yet being every other message. But for some reason that was fine until it got pushback. & inflation has been a thing for a long time, but not nearly as harped on here, despite real & lasting price changes. Go figure

Not the biggest fan of the duck lips face they gave She Hulk for her alternate head, but I do like the look of the figure other than that plus the packaging is nice, so I'll pick it up. I feel the same about G.I.Joe, but sometimes I really wonder what kind of women they model these faces on...
