I've seen those compression shirts at Sports Authority, I love that style of training gear, but they really do require good muscle tone to look decent. Gotta get the rest of my heart attack fat gone first.

Noticed A-Bomb and Dagger are back in stock on impulsecreations.net, at inflated prices tho :/ $39.99 and $34.99

I live in England now, and am army building s.h.i.e.l.d. agents. After shipping Iam paying around £25 each(about$34)and that is actually reasonable. Lot more for others. Many of us collectors are not so fortunate as to ever find them at retail. Bottom line is if you want it buy it.
example....$34 is £25. Toys R Us here is usually £12.99 for MU. Then I have to pay £3 pounds to park in the private car park or walk a mile one way. Then it is about 16 miles away and petrol is (converted to US)$12 per gallon(£1.50 per litre,5 litres in a gallon equalls £7.50 convert to dollars about twelve bucks)..... So in all reality £27($39 DOLLARS) is the cheapest I can buy at retail...that is IF they even have ANY at all.AND we get stuff 6 months later than the states!!!! $34.99 shipped is a bargain!!! |
Sorry to get all Jack Bauer there, but you are complaining about having dirty shoes to people that have no feet......
|
TBH, complaining about toy prices regardless of where you live is "First World Problems". If you have any money to put towards a hobby, all your other essentials (shelter/food/clothes) are already covered, and you have the knowledge and ability to access the Internet to complain about your hobby, then you're doing a hell of a lot better than a lot of other people in this world.
But knowing all that still doesn't stop us from complaining about toy prices, right? ;) So yeah, it sucks to pay more for a toy than we used to and that it sucks even worse in countries outside the US. But things could be far, far worse for all of us. So let's try to have a little perspective before we start comparing shades of grass along each other's fence-line. People are going to complain about their own situations, regardless of how much better or worse other people have it. Like I said, "First World Problems". Quote:

Damn you Amazon I can't afford it right now.

Same here, the only fig I really want is Tony Stark.. I'm sure I could get one cheaper by having a joe with a mustache or something like that and swap heads with an armor

The SW Black Series Biggs Darklighter apparently is a good approximation for classic era Tony Stark. |

Hey guys, I haven't read everything in this thread so I am not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but I just recieved my Wave 5 case from Big Bad (I ordered the set of 6 with Colossus and Warpath in it), and I recieved A-Bomb and Dagger rather than Abomination and Cloak. Is that what everyone else was getting?
I only bring this up because of the outrageous prices that A-Bomb and Dagger are going for. |
lucky lad davie boy!!!

I was going to get one each for my son and I but he has most of those armors (granted Mark 42 is the Assembler) as do I. Plus his X-Mas pile is much to big at the moment. I'll wait and see if they come down in price. If not, I can live without it until someone casts that head and maybe other parts. Quote:

Like Kernel, I offered $18 and it was automatically accepted. Should have went lower to see what his bottom line price was. There are 2 left ATM but I'm sure more will pop up. Now if he could only get some A-Bombs.
