Very cool. I like what he picked up, and is that the Play Arts Kai Joker? If so, sweet. Just to give some perspective though, I pick up what Batman stuff I both enjoy and can somehow afford so that is few and far between.

Yeh man it is, well Walmart camera caught my friend at the time he got jail time and a huge fine for vandilism, karma is a bitch, but the scalper shouldn't of gone that far. I haven't talked to buddy in some years, roid head kinda guy, but he had an amazing collection, but had to sell it to cover legal fees and damages, needless to say sometimes it's best to let scalpers have their way as Karma is all around us, and next time it'll be you getting the entire wave instead of him/her.

You will always get your item at some point, if you wait long enough.

Shit dude. That sounds crazy. Stupid Wal-mart and there stupid cameras.

I like the look of the new Prime toys but why the hell do they call them deluxe and voyager.....the deluxe figures are the size of scouts figures and the voyager are the size of deluxe....well maybe a lil bigger but not much

ersico 02-08-2012 07:17 AM

i agree, but no worries, they kept the price point at voyager and deluxe so not everything has changed ;) lol

You have no idea. One type of HW variant is a different number of spokes on the tires (anywhere from 3 to 10) than the normal release. They can also have different packaging variants, deco changes (including separate color, tampo and paint changes) and so on.

And people think Hasbro goes overboard with variants and running changes.

I'm glad I don't collect them full time or I'd have a police record for smacking one of them by now

..I'm starting to see the madness.

Don't have pics yet, but my wife just picked up TF Prime Cliffjumper and Bumblebee. She's also out on the hunt for Soundwave, so fingers crossed. I'll see if I can take some pics later tonight.

2004 First Editions 1 of 100. The 2004 FE set is one of only two HW sets I ever collected. And I only did it because that was the first time they had done a 100-car set (most FE sets are anywhere from 30-50 new cars). The other was originally to commemorate my nephew's birth. Now he's 12 and more into video games than toys. I still keep it for nostalgia, though.

But that experience is the main reason I don't collect HW anymore. Between the insane amount of variations and the rabid obsession and ruthlessness of some of these hardcore HW collectors was just too much.

My brother-in-law also got out for similar reasons. Which is kind of funny, since he was the one who got me into collecting those two sets in the first place.

EDIT: Just realised you might have been asking about the '66 Batmobile and not the comic one. The TV version was first released in the 2007 FE and was #15 of 36.

Well even if you did, it wouldn't be Scott Lang haha. He is an electrical engineer last time I checked. Actually last I checked he was DEAD.

Check again, he's alive once again in the pages of Children's Crusade, and I believe will be joining the Secret Avengers soon. Though his daughter might be in trouble...

Tiberius 02-08-2012 11:28 AM

I haven't checked since he died before House of M. He better not be joining secret Avengers...not if it means O'Gradey gets the boot..

Optimus Vader 02-08-2012 11:55 AM

I just picked these up at TRU. The funny thing is I went there today to get my 3.75" Avengers Loki (that my inside TRU guy is holding for me), but my guy just so happened to be at Burger King when I stopped by, so I'll get him tomorrow. And for the record, ALL of their Avengers stuff went out on shelves this morning and was cleared out immediately by a guy at their 10am opening (minus my Loki). The only Legends left was this Extremis Ironman, and the only reason that was there is because one of the stock worker's holds back a few figures until after the am/scalper rush on big delivery days.. he can only hold back so much stock though. Anyway, I don't want this Ironman so it'll probably end up in my sales/trades thread. This was the only CJ, there were two WJ's, and a shit-ton of Primes and Bees. And I just thought this Joker card was cool looking--there's also a Superman and Green Lantern.

Back again with another Crash Dummies haul.

This one is a 2 parter, the seller on eBay had to ship the 1 order in 2 boxes to make sure they don't get damaged.

I got these in the mail today, Catwoman for me and Bats for a Canadian Arker. You know who you are.
