If we do get another X-Men REtro wave, I'm hoping we see along with the Storm, Angel (in blue but red is fine), Banshee, Pyro, Avalanche and of course we'll get a Wolverine of some variation. Deathstrike or Shadowcat would also be fine to replace any of the above even though I want them all.

Christ...I'm going to need like 7 or 8 of those Stepford gals...the body type alone SCREAMS kitbashed customs. Hopefully Hasbro doesn't do something ridiculously stupid like giving it the insanely tiny neck peg the older teen bodie figures have (like Nico, originap Jubilee BAF or X-23/Laura-rine.)

I might get the Storm if only because I'm not a fan of figures casted in white plastic. Better chance this figure lasts over the years over the original version.

It bothers me that they didn't do Storm quite right for this repaint. When her costume like this was black she didn't have the straight gold/yellow vertical line on her right, it was like a 'Z' lightning shape. It would've been such a simple paint change too.

Yeah, those are the irksome little things that also irritate me. That said, this was the color I wanted from the start for this iteration of Storm, so I'll be scooping it up...lazy effort or not.

MCU collector24 on facebook stated "Available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse on 12/9 at 12pmEST" so might be single variant figure , hopefully not limited to the pulse store

I’m a huge Wolverine fan, however I think we would survive if a wave didn’t have another version. All that’s left are really obscure costumes anyways unless Hasbro wants to do a one-off version. Of a wolverine from a different style X-men team,... i. e. Evolution, Ultimate, Etc, etc,etc.

I'm thinking she'll be more like the recent Grey Hulk since she'll be up for pre-order on Monday the 9th through Pulse. So she may be available at convention too, like Grey Hulk, but such a quick listing from Pulse smells more fan-channel than con only.

I would be freaking out about that Black outfit Storm right now, but people in here convinced me that Storm's outfit is actually supposed to be white in the comics and someone posted that Jim Lee quote saying when he drew her she was meant to be silverish or something... so I just ended up buying white outfit Storm instead.

And I guess those cuckoos rumor was true... now that I think about it... every rumor was true.

I think it was maybe supposed to be reflective (maybe wrong word) black leather if I remember the quote from him correctly, as such in certain lighting it would appear white in some places. So at times it appeared white with black highlights in the shadows and sometimes black with white highlights in the shadows.

Of course, then the Animated Series used it and it was unquestionably a white outfit, so that further cemented the case for the "white outfit" supporters. I'm glad we're getting both, but to be honest and this is just me personally of course, since we got the color I associate with it more, I would rather have seen a FA Storm than this so soon. On the other hand, it was a given it was coming at some point, so at least it's out of the way and they pretty much HAVE to do FA for the next Storm...right....right???

^I'm sure that just as this black costume repaint was a no-brainer, so is an eventual FA Storm. They are likely saving it for some grand reveal down the road along with some other highly anticipated characters...dare I say...Firestar!?!?

I think that's the big reason I don't care about this black repaint. Since I already have the white outfit I'm just going to wait for FA Storm and have two actually distinct looks.

I am ecstatic about the Stepford Cuckoos being a real release and not a false rumour.

I’m hoping that since they’ve partially exhausted the 90s X-Men team (partially), Hasbro gives us some more 70s-80s X-Men stuff. I’d like the Giant-Size and Outback teams, plus some New Mutants, Starjammers, Excalibur, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and Hellfire Club.
