I'm going to try Woonsocket for abomination figures, based off how the people from there look they are familiar with abominations.

This weekend is Autumnfest. All the freaks come out. Bring a net and a van. You'll find enough mutated beasts to hook up everyone on Toyark.

Ninjinister 10-08-2013 11:48 AM

Blargh. Ninji hates when new stuff arrives when he's broke like a prom night condom.

Rattrap Primal 10-08-2013 01:51 PM

well, the one seller on Amazon I ordered Cloak from only sent. had Cloak, but I ordered Dagger from another seller which should be in between the 15th and 31st

Torpedo 10-08-2013 04:13 PM

Cloak and Abomination arrived today with my order from HTS. Thanks to everyone here for the heads up they were on sale there. And thanks for the heads up that Dagger was at Target. At the fifth and final Target store I canvassed today, I found her. Now Cloak and Dagger are together. Hopefully it will be as easy to unite Northstar and Aurora next wave.

It seems all the focus is on single packs of the final waves now. Are the Asgardian three-pack (Thor, Valkyrie, and Executioner) and X-Men three-pack (Cyclops, White Queen, Colossernaut) still going to hit retail or are they going the way of the Ant-Man / Moon Knight Secret Avengers comic pack? Does anyone know for sure?

anybody have a loose jubilee for sale? the one i have decided to have her arm break off at the elbow.

Sounds typical of Jubilees. Between the derpy eye and the fragile arm joints, she's my leading candidate for figure with the worst quality control.

Good luck getting another. She isn't too expensive is she?

bmorr 10-08-2013 05:45 PM

they had some on clearance at my local walgreens but i checked tonight and any MU is long gone. last night i glued the arm back on. thankfully ive still got the wrist and shoulder articulation.

Captain Taiga 10-08-2013 06:03 PM

Omg I sure hope the Asgard 3 pack comes out. I wanna finish my Masters of Evil team from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon. Pretty sure he's the last guy needed now.
We still need Valkrie to finish Commander Steve Rogers' Secret Avengers too

mods!!!!! its a bot!

Got my Avengers Assemble Wave 2 in from HTS today. I love these figures more than I thought I would.

Hawkeye and Fury have all new heads on repainted Avengers Movie bodies.

Thor is big, articulated and hella fun to play with.

And Leader is a fantastic head sculpt on a repainted Skrull body, a rather good choice.

One thing about Fury, his gun (which I didn't photograph in hand) doesn't fit in his holster without a slight mod. I had to take an exacto knife and widen the end of the holster so the tip of the gun would fit through.

Those look super nice. I can't wait to see those hitting stores around here.

snake5289 10-08-2013 09:27 PM

Wow the Thor actually looks pretty awesome.

ukmu 10-08-2013 10:47 PM

In that last pic, is ABOMINATION giving LEADER a cuddle???? ;)
What sort of "double teaming" are you going for?

Just made me laugh, thought I'd share my twisted vision.

Tom Hiddleston is in Sydney for a promo of Thor 2.

And a friend of mine met him and says he's a very personable down to earth type of guy:

Can't REALLY tell from the images but... Does that Hawkeye have some sort of bicep swivel and wrist articulation? I'll buy him so I can salvage his quiver for my movie-Hawkeye, and maybe his forearms and hands if he has wrists.

No wrist or bicep swivel, only elbow. He's the same body as the Jeremy Renner Hawkeye.

MADREVJACK 10-09-2013 08:17 AM

I'm gonna need one of each of those new figures. I had no idea that they would be that worth it. New head sculpts sounds good to me for sure! Thanks for the pics and review BEAMY! Killer shots!

^ I love this shot because it shows Tom Hiddleston as a super cool guy willing to shoot the breeze with fans.

Plus, he's aces in my book because he took on the role of Loki and is embracing all the fanboy love and obsession that comes with it. Some actors get scared of being associated with one character. He seems fine with it, a fact his accountant probably reminds him daily.

i like that hawkeye a lot,

congrats on meeting loki, i missed Thor when he was here for Tiff, then again if I had met him, i'd be married and pregnant by now
