^^ i was wondering about that too. just picked up obi wan and qui gon cuz of the 30% off sale at TRU and hoped they'd have ball hips. never picked those up in previous releases but knew that the new darth maul has ball hips. he still evades me. may pick up the AOTC obi wan to mash together with the TPM obi since i believe he's the one with ball hips.

T-Crotch on Def Jam records, touring with Old Dirty Bastard.

The upcoming Vader with hip swivels...oh my god it's badass.

Gotta look for that Kenobi now- I was thinkning that his body would be perfect for a MU Mentor (Thanos' dad).

NoodleChow 02-12-2012 09:54 PM

oh god i know. the moment i saw it i knew i'd be suckered into buying another vader. my plan is to kitbash all the good features into 1 vader. ball hips, something akin to a ball neck like the first vintage collection vader, 3 piece helmet from the newer vintage collection, and maybe rocker ankles if possible.

t crotch but i have to say this is my favorite Darth Sidious. this is the one from the Phantom menace vintage collection. remove his cloak and see his sith outfit..bad ass

Jason Abbadon 02-12-2012 10:03 PM

Yeah, Noodle...rocker ankles would be cool too...
It's weird that tarkkin seems to have swivel hips- but cool! I'll have him kicking Deadpool's as with some Matrix moves- give him a hangun and katana....
Or stick him with Blade- Peter Cushing was Van Helsing in the 70's!

I never knew tht Sideous was so cool under his robes...I was afraid to look!
If he was naked under that robe... well, seeing a 1:18 old Sith dick is not something I could live with. Nightmares.

lmao... you sick man

Jason Abbadon 02-12-2012 10:22 PM

Hey, If I were Emperor of the Galaxy, I'd probably walk around in just a bathrobe too- who's gonna say anything?
I'll blow up your entire planet if you so much as mention my package is showing when I sit down at a resturant!

Look at Vader- you think anyone tells Mr. Ashma to shut the hell up at the movies? Doubt it.

Being a Sith means never having to say you're sorry.

eva00kai 02-12-2012 10:34 PM

Jason- *claps* very well said brother.

NoodleChow 02-12-2012 10:37 PM

so basically, you'd rock this look?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...weudecels3.jpg

=D

and man.. buying obi and qui gon prompted me to start watching episode 1 only to realize i only liked the beginning, bits in the middle, and the end. debating whether or not i need that new maul after i dug this guy out from the evolutions pack so they could do some fightin'

Best Darth Maul ever!!

Jason Abbadon 02-12-2012 10:44 PM

More black clothes, but yeah...that's my look. I shave my head and everything.

Better to have the darkside and never need it than to need it and not have it, right?
And sometimes you just gotta choke a bitch- if you can lift him up off the floor and shake him like a ragdoll while asking him rethorical questions, so much the better.

"If this is a diplomatic vessel, where is the ambassador? Oh, you're dead? That's okay, I was'nt expecting an answer anyway, this is just a show for the stormtroopers crapping their armor over there..."

MadMax0905 02-13-2012 12:24 PM

Check you Targets!!! I found this one and it rang up at $8.49 but as you can clearly see it's priced on clearance for $3.94!!! Would have bought more but this was the only one I found!!!!

The head/face sculpt is solid too.. and you can't have a Sid robe without that hood now. I was going through some of my older Sids that I thought were cool until I got this one.. the cloth hood just doesn't cut it. Way too pointy.

I'd recommend picking him up. His robe is HUGE and ratty, he's more articulated, and his horns look a little better than on most previous sculpts I've seen.

Mastersteef 02-13-2012 01:47 PM

So the past week I've been pretty busy with school and now Toyfair (too many awesome figure pics to look at, so little time!!!) so I haven't been able to post pics from my recent hauls until now. So enjoy peoples!..... ;D

So first up is my haul from Target and Wal-mart last week: Qui-Gon and the Tusken Raider are the wal-mart exclusive Movie heroes wave (w/ the 3-D cardbacks). I also have the Aurra Sing from that wave but I don't really know what to do with her yet, is anyone on here looking for her?

Also, I picked up some more of the new Lego Minifigures wave (basically my "crack" right now, till they get off their asses and restock the MU section) And I was happy to get the Centurion, Leprechaun, and Highlander (there can only be one!)

http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...DSCI0278-1.jpg

Also from Target I found the transformers Crossover "Darth Maul" and he is pretty badass...however, his paint could be a little better and I really wish he had wrist swivels...otherwise though, neat figure.

http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...m/DSCI0245.jpg

__

Next up is my Lego haul from Wal-mart where I picked up the Lex Luthor Power Armor set. These new DC lego sets are so incredibly awesome, its hard to not just buy every one that they have. ;D
And I took my Lego Spartan minifigures armor to try out on Wonder Woman and I think it looks pretty excellent... then I swapped her parts over to him and..well..its hilarious. XD

http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...m/DSCI0233.jpg

http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...m/DSCI0232.jpg

__

From ebay comes, ML Unleashed Green Goblin. This is undoubtedly my favorite costume of Gobby's and I really hope we'll somehow get a figure of this costume in the MU line someday...
http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/...m/DSCI0234.jpg

And last, but definitely not least is the set of Microman Batman (& friends) that I got from Arker' DogFashionDisco (thank you man!) They came in awesome condition and I immediately pulled out my custom Mr. Freeze to take a few quick fun shots... :)

Thanks! He is awesome, and easily the best of the wave 1 deluxes by far. Only one-per-case, so he's damn-near impossible to find.

And the sad thing is, I want another one to keep MOC for my Soundwave shelf. Especially since I won't be adding DOTM HA or Deluxe Soundwave to it any time soon. :(

Good stuff. I'm after the black version of Microman Batman. What's that background you have there? It looks like a xmas scene or something, but it works very well with those figures.

^Thanks Vader! And yeah, the background is this neat little "Imaginext Advent Calender" I found on clearance for $4.98 at Target during their after Christmas sales. Its fairly big, and even being made completely out of thin cardboard has some neat features, like the several rooftops, street-level windows, and fold-down "breakable wall" on the left side (good for when Juggernaut attacks).

Imaginext Advent Calendar - Fisher-Price Online Toy Store

Its actually my son's...but Daddy tends to steal it for "picture time" quite often now. ;P

It's also just about perfect with 4" scale figures, as I hilariously found out when picking up in my son's room I found his MU Green Goblin webbed up (with a twisty tie) and lodged face first in the chimney. xD

Thanks, man. That's awesome.. it works really well.

Amazon.com. $25 shipped minus $15 GC = $10 total. So only slightly above retail. :D
