I demand an action figure of that comics-accurate Scarlet Witch. Don’t care what capacity it’s in the show, need it. From the trailer, I’ll wager we’ll see Falcon, Winter Soldier, and U.S. Agent at the least. Maybe Zemo, in the mask (not in this trailer, but confirmed to be in the show). Presumably some kind of Scarlet Witch and Vision. And definitely some kind of Loki, but probably not Time Variance Authority prisoner.

Panther 02-02-2020 09:27 PM

My friend bought me a Dr. Doom from the Super Skrull wave. Dr. Doom is my all time favorite supervillain, and this is the best Marvel Legend I’ve ever seen.

MeLikeJinx 02-02-2020 10:31 PM

^ You should keep Doom IMO just in case he shows up in the MCU with F4 and ends up looking exactly like the comic version or something. Like how MCU Mysterio looks similar to comic Mysterio.

I was rooting for the Chiefs too though... man... when they were down 10 with like 9 mins to go and SF was just dominating them... that was pretty rough. But then they were down at least two possessions in every playoff game too... such a crazy season they had. I mean I am not a lifelong Chiefs fan or anything... I was just rooting for Mahomes and Andy Reid because of how heartbreaking last year's loss to the Pats was and I hate the Pats above all else. LOL.

You might be on to something. I might hang on to him a little longer. Lol.

This city needed this. Literally inches away last year (thank you Dee Ford). My city is partying hard right now.

Back to Legends...now that we’ve seen footage from the 3 upcoming Disney Plus shows, I bet we see something a Toy Fair. I’m betting on Falcon, Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter, Zemo, US Agent, Scarlet Witch, and Vision. If I see any of these, Toy Fair is a big win for me.

Looks like we have confirmation on Venom

Saw some happy children buying the new spider-man wave at Target yesterday! Was awesome! After reading so many entitled posts on forums and social media, it starts to get me down at what we’ve become... then I see this and it gives me hope.

At least a few kids will get to be kids.

Was it the fetish half of the wave or the more standard figures?

I mean c'mon..it's an old guy in a bird suit, a shirtless guy and a woman dressed up in a furry costume. The kink is high in this wave.

TheBlueMarvel 02-03-2020 09:40 AM

Lol good point. This wave does have some underlying themes...

Boy Blunder 02-03-2020 09:54 AM

What Spider-Man wave doesn't, though? A good half of his rogue's gallery are furries :p

The game costumes in white boxes and a Thing from FF. From their very loud conversation, it was Christmas gift cards aching to be spent.

Half are furries and the other half tendril-waving pleather-freaks with parasites.

Was shopping with my Dad and littler brother in Target over the weekend. Happened upon a Vulture for myself that was off the pegs (thankfully the running change version at that) and while my little brother at first wanted to grab Superior Octopus, we opted for the clearanced Lego Milano from Infinity War. He was disappointed, at 12, with the paint apps on Oct's visor strap between the eyes. What have I done!?

Well at least that's wholesome.

Lol not that rare. Some kids were excited about the Jean/cyclops/wolvie box set “from the Disney+ cartoon” (god I feel old now) and were bummed out that Cyclops’ glasses were splotched onto his forehead, so they put it back.

I almost went full-on “old man mode”... “listen here, whipper snappers! Why, back in my day, we was lucky if our toys HAD a painted face! We would walk uphill, in the snow both ways, to go to toys r us! No GameStops on every corner like you kids have today! Ungrateful hooligans!”

But I figured it wouldn’t do any good...

That being said, did see a mcfarlane superman with his mouth painted on his cheek. Got a chuckle out of me.

AFU 02-03-2020 12:27 PM

Went to Walmart, found all for FF wave and Hobgoblin wave...Finally...

JAG2045 02-03-2020 12:45 PM

Got the Vulture today and its great having another updated classic Spider-man foe (my hope for the next one will be classic shocker!)

Is there any trick to keep the upper arm wing pieces in place? The ones on my figure keep popping off!

Nimrod 02-03-2020 12:47 PM

I stop by GS every now & then but don't drop coin on their over priced ML figs. As for the $15 an hr rate to unskilled burger flippers in fast food joints, a few things happen that can make the entire wage hike meaningless. The owner cuts your hrs, hence you're making the same pay you did on $10 an hr, or the owner has to raise the price of his items to compensate for the wage increase & watch as once loyal customers stop giving him/her their business & then the owner either has to lay off workers or worse yet, close up shop due to lack of business. Fast food/Walmart/Target, etc are for young teens/college students making some extra $$ for clothes, school supplies, tuition, etc or for older retired people that just don't wanna sit at hope staring at the fishbowl all day. They are not for people in their mid/late 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s to try & make a living & feed their family of 4.

I see the Venom is now up for pre-order on different sites.

This line of thinking is garbage. So much in this world these days just comes across as a way to judge others, denigrate people, etc. People think retail and restaurant workers are somehow beneath them but everyone spends money at those places. Why does an insurance salesman or bus driver deserve any more respect? People want to attribute prestige and class to things. Appearance matters too much for too many.

These are companies making millions, even billions, in revenue. Stop propping them up as if they need defending. Their profits are not being generated by teens and retirees. Workers everywhere deserve to share in a companies success. More should be done to actually have a dialog about these things instead of people jumping to conclusions and never reflecting on their opinion.

Every few months these political discussions pop into the thread and it does nothing to help our community and the things we actually like and agree on.

TheBlueMarvel 02-03-2020 01:55 PM

Why should anyone pay attention to peer reviewed research when they could opt for opinion and conjecture instead???

Haha! This new reality sets up nicely the dystopian future ahead of us!

SymbiSpidey 02-03-2020 02:07 PM

That Venom repaint is probably the easiest and most simple repaint Hasbro could have ever done....and also the most excited I've ever been for a repaint. It's already by default the best Marvel Legends Eddie Brock Venom to date. Might even replace the MAFEX in my display since I still feel that figure is a bit too small.
