Has anyone voted in the Fan Poll? What's the hopes for a winner, or thought on the poll in general? I guess I'd buy White outfit Elektra but I'm not really that interested in any so I haven't voted.

I don't really have a pony in the race, but I'm hoping Sif wins, just because there's a lot of people who couldn't get her from the A-Force pack.

I'm hoping for Sif only because the other 2 will take up a spot in a spidey wave that could go to a new character

I had actually forgotten about the fan poll until you posted this. I almost voted for Silk since her new deco looks really nice (and is she on a new body?) but I ultimately voted for Sif since her new look is better than the one in the A-Force box set.

I voted for Sif since a friend of mine missed the A-Force pack and wants her. Honestly, I don't really care who wins.
As for the rumored AoA wave 2, I'd love to see Sabertooth (since the Toy Biz one is pretty awful) and Sinister.

Good responses and reasoning for Sif. I forget she was in that A-Force exclusive set. It would be good to have her in a wide distribution wave. And one that doesn't take away from other Spider-Man related woman (cough Firestar cough)

I rewatched some of Saturday's panel. Concerning the fan vote, only the winning figure will be made and the winner will be announced AND available for purchase at SDCC. The other two will never be made ever again (according to them).

First, does this mean the fan poll winner is the SDCC exclusive for this year or is it simply available to purchase at SDCC first before mass release?
Second, are they really going to spend all of that time, money, and energy designing two figures and getting them ready for production only to NEVER release them?

Is it really that much time, energy and money though to do a digital mockup? And if they have enough lead time they can almost certainly make a SCC release date!

Never to be made again...until they are prominently featured in the MCU or some storyline that catapults them back into the limelight.

I'm not sure of the purpose (or wisdom) of making a statement that could potentially (and so easily) box them into a corner. Especially given their penchant for revisiting figs and molds...

I always just assumed they knew what figures they were gonna make and these were just customs from an employee's collection to give the illusion of choice haha

An employee's collection? Lol That canceled Bi-Beast is in my collection. Had I been able to find that Brother Voodoo, it'd be in my collection as well.

Haven't voted yet, either. IMO with all of the choices being pretty niche repaints, it kind of takes away any sense of urgency with selecting and defending a choice. I'd pick up all three at retail if they were all actually released, but with all having previous releases I don't really feel the need to rush and vote. I'll be pretty content with whoever eventually wins, I guess.

I like the Sif and admit to also wanting a white suited Elektra. So, at that rate, why not go for a three pack?

I have all three so I really don't care. They are repaints. I found it funny when they say the losers will not get made. They already were made lol.

When Hasbro says that the losers of the poll won't be made I assume they just mean that these specific costumes won't be made.

They say figures, not characters, and then one of the guys on stage comes right out and says that could change tomorrow, so it hardly seems set in stone.

I'm now seething with envy. That Bi-beast and the once planned marvel universe orange fin fang foom are the only unreleased figures that have ever haunted me.

I actually nabbed the Bi-Beast on a tip from a member here: Byrnes! Really good guy, he also hooked me up with a super cool Firestar custom that has prevented me from needing a fig of the character.

Of the cancelled figs the only others that I want are Voodoo, the Red King, and that weird, almost Micronaut looking Annihilus. I've seen the Annihilus on Ebay, never the other two.
