Well Done, RedFox!!! I'm just curious how long this $10 price point will last.
Either way--it has been a ride! |

Think Captain Nash might find something interesting in this...purely speculation of course...:D Quote:

The sale is supposed to last until April 14th or 15th. I saw a post at one point on Reddit of a store that had actual stickers posted.
Yesterday was mildly successful for me. Was able to pick up two Cuckoos (that may be up for trade/sale as I'm not sure I really want them), an Elektra, Scorpion, Doppleganger and Spider-Woman from the Molten Man wave. Fingers crossed I can find a Mystique somewhere in the next month. |

@redfox - Nice video! I'm curious if the "TV 1" and "TV 2" listings for the retro Spider-Man wave are actually based on the Spider-Man 1990s animated series, since they're using the Toy Biz box art from that wave for the new retro figures. Not that I wouldn't love "Amazing Friends" figures for Iceman and Firestar, but it'd be nice to see some "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" figures to go with the box art. I hope they're not Fan Channel exclusives though. Maybe the different vintage Spider-Man figure is the black costume Spider-Man, or maybe Spider-Man T.A.S. based.
I'm personally crossing my fingers some kind of Firestar, classic Shocker, classic Hobgoblin with alternate heads and a bigger/better glider accessory than the previous Hobgoblin figure came with, and Doc Ock with bendable wire tentacles and based on John Romita Sr.'s artwork to all make the cut for the next Marvel Legends: Spider-Man wave, but time will tell. Fingers crossed we get another retro/vintage X-Men wave of figures too! "X-Men Classics" based on the '90s X-Men animated series would be great, so we can get an easier-to-find Jim Lee Cyclops with a new optic blast, Jubilee with fireworks accessories, and figures of Jean Grey and Magneto that aren't part of boxed set releases. Also, maybe the Avengers X-Men vintage wave could be an Avengers vs. X-Men type toyline or an Avengers wave that had X-Men as Avengers team members. Rogue, Storm, Beast and Wolverine all immediately come to mind. An Avengers X-Men wave would be a perfect way to use a re-release of the blue furry Beast with the gray Beast's smiling head, glasses and book and Hasbro could toss in Storm and Uncanny Avengers Rogue for good measure. Bonus points if Safari Jacket Wonder Man gets included too! |

Jim Lee Jubilee could use a redo with the same head from the Build-A-Figure Jubilee and some fireworks effects to go with it.

Speaking of the training uniforms....... They have to make Wolverine at some point. Gambit is the only figure from the Toyfare fan's choice poll in 2007 to not be released in some way. Psylocke and Storm could be a single figure with two different heads. Banshee could come with an alternate head for Joseph as long as his wings were completely removable. They could knock this team out in 5 releases, or 3 singles and a 2 pack (Storm\Psylocke and Banshee/Joseph). Make it happen! |
Apart from the villians am i the only one who thinks once a f4 fan has their f4 that's it you don't need another set...
unlesss i get a huamn version of johnny storm the walgreens one or an transparent sue like toybiz did, i dont see any point of updating my f4 as it's a quickly completed team. I think if they released the black and blue suited ones they would have to be a huge improvement with a ton of accessories. |
The Avengers/X-Men product listed in the video above is just the black costume Storm repaint that's already out a lot of places. E9660 is definitely the product code for that figure.

K Dubious, that's an awesome set up! Looks fantastic dude!
I was able to pick up a few figures that were on sale from a local Walgreens. Mostly for custom fodder, but it's a good price. I was able to grab an exclusive Emma, 2 Guardian figures (for a friend who needed them) and a Julia Spider-Woman. If anyone needs an Emma, let me know because another Walgreens had 3, so I'm happy to help anyone out. |

...not much improvement on those avatar pics. ;) |
Well, an upcoming local con just announced their postponement until August... so I absolutely blew some of my funds set aside for that, and picked up Cowboy Logan, Agent Anti-Venom, and the Squirrel Girl set last night.
Squirrel Girl can't physically reach the handlebars of the scooter. Other than that, I love how much new molding/retooling they've done for her. |

The sale is still a go and one of my Walgreen's restocked! Picked up Vulture (Demogoblin BAF), Shang-Chi (Demogoblin BAF) & Superior Octopus(Demogoblin BAF).
Be sure to swing back in for a quick doublecheck! |

You are absolutely correct. I have Spider-man (My original Legends pick up) themed around the animated series, not everyone is perfect, but I'm trying to stay true to those characters and designs. The X-men is also specific to who I find important and the center of the X is the 90's dream team of X-men. I have a comic counterpart MCU avengers display. Animated series Ironman display, looking forward to the new war machine and I would really like a modular Ironman. I think he would look better than the Terrax wave one I have up there now. Above that is the FF/Silver surfer toy line shelf. I want to get the Super Skrull BAF, but I also haven't decided if I want to display the Walmart Exclusive comic Thanos up there as well. Thanks for the compliments! |
