So he's basically the same except for the Walkie Talkie. Good to know.

The guy who posted the pic painted his carded version's cowl pink.

Anyone hear whether Funko will be making more DC figures like they did for Suicide Squad? They're a little small/squat for my taste, but at least they are something. |

They have done Arrow, Flash, Suicide Squad and Batman 66, which should be ongoing. CCC. |

We're better off waiting for Funko to make more stuff, tbh. I really want their Batgirl figure even if the articulation kinda sucks.

Man am I disappointed there's no Injustice 2 figures. Ivy, Canary, Supergirl, Deadshot, Grodd, Cold, Darkseid, Atrocitus, Bane, Brainiac, Fate, GL, Robin, Swamp Thing, Scarecrow, so many characters I want figures of damn it!

I just got my Funko Batman Classic figures from Clark's. I'll post some photos soon. I can say Right away though I love how they look on card. Very nice!

Thinking about getting the Suicide Squad Deadshot and Katana. Do they mesh with the Multiverse figures or do they kind of stick out in comparison?

No Funko 3.75 at SDCC? Was really hoping for Justice League.

Post-SDCC thoughts... Does anyone know what the toy rights are concerning 3 3/4"-4" DC characters? I just wonder why another company wouldn't jump in and make these.
Funko has made a few, but they're honestly so-so sculpts, on the short side for the scale, and they have antiquated articulation. And it's not purposefully lacking, they haven't marketed the Suicide Squad and Batman '66 figures as ReAction. As far as I can tell, DC has allowed Mattel, Medicom, Bandai (Figuarts), NECA and their own DC Collectibles to make 6"-7" scale figures. Square Enix makes a 9" scale. Jakks makes 19" and 31" big figs. Hot Toys makes 1/6 scale. NJ Croce makes bendables. Schleich makes figurines. How tough would it be to allow a smaller company that excels at 1:18 scale to create a line of DC figures? At this point I won't buy "that's Mattel's gig" since Funko has made figures based on DC's movies, comics and television shows. And they're not all "retro" lines. Surely there are indy companies out there that would jump at the chance to create and market a line of the World's Greatest Super Heroes. Wouldn't you think? |
