It wasn't a deleted scene. The stinger for X-Men 3 shows Xavier transferred his mind into the comatose body on Muir Island because he has no ethics. It still doesn't explain why the stinger for The Wolverine doesn't match up with DOFP though.

Trying to figure out the continuity of the Fox X-Men movies is an exercise in futility. They clearly didn't give a shit about logic, why should you?

Marvel, not only does this prove that all the good superhero names are taken, but also it's not a great idea to tailor your heroes to the super-progressive Twitter crowd, which are absolutely NOT the people who EVER buy comic books. The SJW's won't care about being pandered to like this and comic book fans will be completely turned off. I predict New Warriors will be cancelled before it hits issue #10. Hell, issue #5.

P.S. Sorry, I had to post the YouTube trailer for the New Warriors comics. 1.9K likes compared to 45K lislikes, lol. And the writer is exactly the sort of guy you'd expect to pen a comic like this. He even says that the original New Warriors comic was "too cool" for him and that he was "intimidated" by characters like Night Trasher. IT'S HILARIOUS.

I was literally just thinking this same exact thing this morning, and I agree with you 100%. After the shitstorm that was the Wolverine Origins movie, I felt that The Wolverine bounced back with the quality...until the dumb Silver Samurai robot suit showed up. And it's not that the Silver Samurai robot looked lame - it was actually fairly cool-looking - but represented the entire story of the movie shitting the bed. The most predictable plot "twist" ever happens when it's revealed that the old guy is still alive (who didn't see THAT coming), but worse: suddenly, Adamantium is no longer indestructible, but can actually be CUT LIKE BUTTER BY A HOT SWORD. Wolverine has his metal claws chopped off but grows his bone claws back, but that's okay...they'll Adamantium again without any explanation in Days of Future Past!

I dunno. Dumb shit like that just really bugs me.

At least its a new team and not rehashing the same old characters. Do i think they look interesting.....only in a massive train wreck kinda way. I have zero interest in the new team bur i also had zero interest in the original team. I get people may not be into it but this is what marvel ( and comics in general ) needs. Instead of ruining and bastardizing long established characters (iceman, shatterstar, ms marvel) they create new ones.

These characters are meant for a newer readers and newer generations. If the book tanks it tanks but at least they are trying to make something new.....which i applaud.

My own two cents, based on what I've seen of the "Incoming!" story and the "Outlawed" event in general, is that the new characters' names are indeed a bit of an in-universe joke, since it seems that, despite appearances, the New Warriors are, effectively, "selling out" and trying to be more government/public-approved, as opposed to the Champions. And one way of doing that is by having "young, hip" characters on their team that are "reclaiming" terms of derision or somesuch.

Really, their whole story seems to be trying to get people to forget about their direct involvement in Civil War by being on the "right" side of the debate this time. By effectively crapping on all the good that the Champions have done and what they represent.

I found the Deadly Origin White Widow at Target today but was street dated at the register. Fortunately my MCU White Widow is out for delivery from Pulse.

His touch brings a semi-serious illness that is only really worrisome to the elderly or those with pre-existing conditions. Influencer... he uses social media posts to convince fools to throw their money around for artificial clout! The fiend!
