I forgot to mention that Abomination also needs to wear trunks, not tatters pants.

And the neck post is pretty long so you can pose his head well.
Edit: And if you want to experiment you can remove the ripped part of the pants from his upper thigh with some heat. There are a couple indents in the legs where the pant piece is glued. So some sculpt would be needed to hide it but you could have him wear short shorts lol. |

The issue is that you will have to mod either the head or neck peg (most likely the neck peg) as it is a bit long and causes the head to float away from the body. EDIT: You can indeed drill out the head to the older BAF figure so that it hides the longer neck peg on the newer figure. Took me only about 30 seconds of dremeling and it works perfectly. As long as you only dremel into the head and not widen the cavity, you'll still be able to use it with your older BAF figure with no issues. Quote:

Looks good, but the head looks loose. Hasbro should make an Abomination figure just like it, with trunks and a tighter head.

Like I mentioned, if you manage to dremel out the peg hole in the old one a bit, it fits on there pretty good and snug. The only issue is the slight differences in color (not to mention the older head being a bit harder to find on the secondary market, since it was packed with the original Civil War Scarlett Witch figure.) |
It's a bummer the jetpack is molded to the harness. I was hoping to pick up a few loose spares.

It looks as if Wal-Mart has Stan Lee figure up and is $19.99
I ordered and should have mine Wed. and I can confirm. https://www.walmart.com/ip/MVL-STAN-LEE/278687604 |
Thanks for that Robb.
While I'm not too keen on receiving packages during this health emergency for reasons of personal safety and out of concern for mail carriers and the personnel of various shipping companies, I just couldn't pass on the opportunity to nab this civilian body mold. Especially considering that the popularity of the figure is going make any secondary market purchase unpalatable. If they send Stan before my gray Black Widow, I'll be conflicted in my reaction. I was emailed that Black Widow was delayed for "restock and cleaning" purposes and while receiving Stan quickly will be a relief, of sorts, I'll be left wondering if it was "cleaned." Not a huge problem as I clean any and everything from mail to groceries to myself as it enters my home, but I'll hardly complain about any extra cleaning the retailer might provide. Edit: lol it just dawned on me that the "restock and cleaning" is likely for the stores/outlets not the items being sent...duh...oh well. |
Shame about Mach I's jet pack being molded on, but it's not that big of a deal. I've got him on order from both Amazon and Dorkside, so I'll get them sooner or later...1 month, 2 months, 6 months... I'm going to try to make another Mach something out of the duplicate.

I was looking forward to the Mach-1 figure, but I'm a little disappointed now that I've seen pictures of it. Mostly I just don't care for how they handled his helmet. The visor should have been done the same way they handled the MCU Wasp figure, with sculpted and painted eyes underneath a clear red visor instead of just red paint. That, coupled with all of the plain white plastic, makes the figure look like something Playskool would make.

Would anyone know where one could commission (or buy) a custom Maker head that fits the new Reed Richards body? I'm likely gonna have to buy the figure just to finish Kl'rt, and I really don't need a second Reed in my collection. My wife and I loved the New Avengers, so using the body (with his creepy salad fingers) for the series' main villain doesn't seem like too much of a... stretch.
