They usually stand about a head or more taller than Legends figures. If you're wondering about a specific figure just look for some reviews. Michael Crawford and ShartimusPrime usually have a size comparison at the end of their reviews.

reason im asking is because i would like to recreate a sort of spider verse theme on one of my shelves using both legends characters and some selects.

As far as I know, the only Spider-Man that is unique to Marvel Select is the Superior Spiderman 1.0. All of the others have been done by either Toy Biz or Hasbro. You might be able to fudge Marvel Selects in through posing and having them stand next to larger figures though.

i actually prefer the legengs superior, because he actually looks more like him.

Confirmation of Ant-Man ML on home page. Not given a full listing but hopefully this weekend. I think, if the predictions are true, the ML I am most looking forward to seeing is the ML Grim Reaper. If the rumor on him is incorrect I will be crushed.

En Sabah Nerd 02-13-2015 10:54 AM

Of course Hasbro decides to make Ultron the build-a-figure for the Ant-Man legends wave. This is why I HATE build-a-figures. Very often they're the only one you want from the wave, but you have to buy the rest of the toys that you don't want to get the one you do. Then trying to get just the build-a-figure on after market is ludicrous price jump land. Hasbro should take a page from what McFarlane used to do with their different lines, make the regular figures in the wave and then release a deluxe figure in every wave too.

I am really glad I am not alone in this feeling. I WANT the Thanos BAF but I could care less about every other figure in that wave. I have a considerably smaller collection than most and even I feel like I have too many Iron Man and Cap figures already......sigh

Captain Nash 02-13-2015 04:11 PM

Yeah I don't think I care too much about getting the complete wave for Thanos. Usually unless I really want the BAF, I will only get the figures I want unless I'm 1-2 short. Then I may as well go ahead and complete it if it's interesting to me at all.

The exceptions would be if we were to ever get either an Attuma or Shadow King BAF. I would be scrambling to get my wave order in ASAP.

Starlord67 02-13-2015 05:01 PM

I think the Thanos wave will be the first wave where I only buy half the figures. I'm more than happy with my Select version and only want Spiderwoman, Hellcat and Batroc in this set.

It says in the article: "the Build-A-Figure: the villain from Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, the nefarious Ultron!"

I also hope it's Wasp's black and gold like the MI wave 1 figure.

Zorn88 02-13-2015 10:09 PM

So, I am looking for a Marvel Legends Deadpool(not Toybiz). Do I buy one now and pay an unfortunate price, or wait and hope for a new release?

305Batman 02-13-2015 10:15 PM

There's a movie coming so.....who knows?

Just like the original Toybiz legends Scarlet Witch was some kind of hag troll, but the new one's actually reminiscent of the comic character, well the Wasp wasn't that bad but still Hasbro should do better. Unless it is for the movie, in which case that's unfortunate for those of us expecting a comic figure.

Movie wasp would work if she has the black and yellow suit.

You grab the hasbro version from china seller for 35$ shipped, may be knock off, but good enough.

Since it's fox, they probably won't do a full line.

The grey one is usually cheaper so I bought it and just repainted it. If that helps.

YES!

And with Amazon, they won't be a PiTA to hunt down!

jwyss234 02-14-2015 11:59 AM

According to The Fwoosh, it looks like Chameleon will come with alternate heads for Jameson and Hammerhead instead of them being separate figures. Still haven't seen anything saying the Hulkbuster will be the movie version but I'm hoping it is.
