Still need a 90's X-Factor Wolfsbane to complete the 90s X-Factor roster.

Also, what arms and legs did you use for Wolfsbane? Or are they fully painted? |
^ That TRU X-men wave was impossible to find back then though... I was visiting TRU a lot for other various stuff and never saw that wave... not once.
And there is a benefit to missing out on that wave too... I would for sure have bought Magento and Storm and maybe eventually the rest to make Jubes. And too me that would have been a waste of money since years later I got better versions of those characters with better body molds. |
Oh God, the horror of that Jubilee wave. Piece-meal bought the figures one at a time at relatively okay prices. But not something I'd like to repeat. Ever.

I bought the whole Jubilee wave on eBay within the last two years, and managed to get most of it effectively for free by finding undervalued lots, and selling the extra figures for around the same price as the lots. I think I probably dropped $50 total on the wave, all things said and done, entirely NIB. That took buying three Storms, two Cyclopes, and one of each of the others, and it took a lot of patience, but considering how much those figures go for (a lot more now than even two years ago), it felt like a pretty good score. The Magneto and Wolverine figures are pretty bad, but I still love the other three. Cyclops and Storm are in favourite costumes of mine, and all three are great sculpts.

I remember years ago when I saw Stryfe I believe for a modest $35 on Amazon. Really wishing I just pulled the trigger on him.
|
At this point I feel that I've effectively purchased Stryfe for under retail. I purchased a lot about two years ago on eBay of him, Juggernaut Cable, Warlock Cyclops and Uncanny Cyclops for $120 and then sold both Cyke figures for around $90 afterwards. Great times.
|
I've wanted a Stryfe figure for ages to use as a base for a Death's Head custom, but no fucking way I'm paying what he's going for on ebay these days. I settled for using Colossus, which is working out okay so far.
|
by good coincidence Stryfe was the only one I planned to get so I preordred and got him way before the rest. I think once I got Storm I figured I'm halfway there I might as well get the rest. Though I think it took a good 2-3 years after release.
And ugh. Amazon still showing my preorder for Dark Beast to arrive on Wednesday but no updates or shipping or delays. I know a delay is probably going to happen but at the same time i'm like...just ship it!!!! |

At the current rate of things actually getting stocked, I wouldn't bet money on that one.

If anyone's getting the wave but not into Sugar Man I might be interested. I would love to collect waves of AoA stuff but it's just too much shit.
|
Yeah I wouldn't place much hope in retail for a few months but you never know. I went to Walmart yesterday only to get a prescription for my dog I can only get from there. Since they could have it ready in 15 minutes, I went by the toy aisle. one Wasp figure in the legends section that's it. and I see no reason that between delays and priority of needs, that toys are going to be high on the list for most retailers.
