While I'm sure Punisher could ultimately whip something up to defeat Tombstone the dude is stronger and much, much tougher. Deadpool had to resort to pinning Tombstone between a building and a garbage truck just to get away from him and Deadpool actually has powers compared to Punisher who has none.

heh, i don't think i made the connection between him and pyron before but seeing this i'm like duh of course. i guess all you would need are those flame effects to complete the look.

Wow, I hadn't made the connect until you mentioned it. There are some other Gardeners that resemble Pyron even more so due to their thinner and more symmetrical horns. Funny how character designs get unconsciously trapped in one's psyche. I don't necessarily think the original artist intentionally appropriated Capcom's design, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jerome Opena played a good deal of Darkstalkers.

Only if the Punisher had time to prepare or completely caught him off guard with a trap tactic. If it were a completely random encounter and Tombstone just happened to show up for a one on one with Frank, the Punisher would get his ass handed to him.

I actually just got Ex Nihilo today. The pics and videos online don't do that head sculpt justice, it's a whole lot more impressive in-hand.
