Unless this is the look you are going for. The white rectangle patches on the feet need to be at the Bridge of the foot not the the tip. But if thats what you are going for then its kool. He looks great so far. Cant wait to see his head. That's the hardest part to get right.

I am liking the knife. Looks real sharp from this point of view.

thanks ken! well i bought a red hood custom off of ebay and added the leg sculpting and repainted everything...though Im having huge problems with my games workshop paint on the pants, it's curdling real hard at all the joints and it peels.
I am taking a killer moth head and I shaved it down so after it's all painted I'll let you know :-)

plus everyone should take a look at my blackest night inventory and buy it all ;-)

Killer Moth is a good choice for a easy start on the Head. As for teh paint issue. I dont know. I'll ask my custom people if they have a hint or two.

Don't have any, but are you only collecting DCUC? If so any of those Supermen are going to be a solid inch taller than everyone else.

The only problem with doing the Head Swap is that the Color tone of the skin will be different.

Does anyone here own a CIE Atrocitus, a DCUC (ONLY from the main line called DCUC) figure with the same style torso as DCUC Superman and Batman, and a good digital camera?

I need a pic of Atrocitus torso laying flat on a flat surface with the other figure's torso laying right next to his, so you can compare both torsos. Limbs and head are not needed. The image must be extremely clear and a close-up.

Some people have put the head from the DCC Nu52 Supes on the Mattel Nu52 Supes and it looks awesome.

I've seen KO versions of the 2nd pic superman in HK and Singapore. I'm sure if you search around, you will be able to score one for a low price. The quality is pretty good. I'm an amateur, but paint work is up there with the usual DC stuff.
The articulation on that Superman is very basic though

I have to say I am really impressed with Mattel on this one. This is probably the first figure released from them in nearly a year that feels like it was actually put together with good materials. The joints on mine are extremely tight (and boy, do I mean tight, as there are some I really need to use force to move), which is great for a character that runs like Flash. Secondly, the paint job on him is nearly flawless. Outside of the line on the front part of the neck not connecting with the backside on one side of his neck (you can see it in the pic of him talking with Zoom), I have no complaints at all. The eyes look very detailed, the costume looks great, and the sculpted insignia along the detailed sculpting on the mask and boots make this figure really pop. I love it. I could do without the yellow lines over his body, but that is a minor nitpick. Speaking of nitpicking, there is one true complaint with the figure. The arms, the lower legs from the swivel and below, and the hip hinges on the top portion of the legs are a different shade of red compared to the rest of the body and mid-section of the upper legs.

Despite that issue, like I said, I am really impressed and if all of the New 52 figures come out like this, I might just have to collect them after all. Nevertheless, I am glad I got this figure and this might be my favorite Flash figure over all.
