Nah, they were pretty clear when they announced the Age of Apocalypse wave that they were open to doing more if it was well-received, but didn't have anything set in stone. That means there were never more coming this year. They just said they'd do more if these sell well enough. I'm torn. I loved the Age of Apocalypse and there are still plenty of characters I'd love to see as toys (Colossus and Shadowcat top my list), but I think there are way more 616 figures I'd rather see first. I kind of hope they don't do another dedicated wave, instead peppering them in with standard X-Men waves, which is a distinct possibility, considering how much of the 616 top-tier cast they've already released.

Well, Wild Child arrived today, so there's that.
Hoping that, even with this staggered delivery, Jean arrives last. I don't want Sugar Man's disembodied face to be sitting around waiting for the rest of the parts. I also hope Morph is next. EXILES! |
I wonder when we are gonna see the remaining figure for the Strong Guy wave?

And LOL @ "Sunfire looks like mime on fire." Good one. |

Bah, you all just have poor taste :D
But real talk, I think at least one more AoA wave would be nice. Mostly because it gives a lot of people a chance to skip a wave if they don't care about AoA, without the inevitable bitching that would arise if they instead peppered in AoA versions into a normal X-Wave. Imagine the riots if AoA Rogue got the slot in a standard X-Wave over, say, Outback Rogue. Also, AoA has a few more characters that would work for the BAF slot that, again, would invite rage if they were used as the BAF for a standard X-Wave. |

I can sympathize with those who don't like AOA, even though I am a huge fan of the story concept and designs. I'm not a fan of most of the early 00's looks, despite some raving over them, and I know it's just that not everything is going to be to everyone's taste. |

AoA is Amazing! Already setting up a shelf to get ready for them- Hopefully I'll be able to replace Sabertooth with the next AoA wave like I'll be doing with Sunfire and my Morph custom...

Yeah, I could handle one more Age of Apocalypse wave, probably. The problem I'm having is that I only collect X-Men, but I collect all of them, and it looks like this year Age of Apocalypse has replaced the standard X-wave. I know we're getting the Deadpool wave, a few fan channel repaints, a few box-sets, and a deluxe figure or two (though the confirmed deluxe figure is also Age of Apocalypse-based), and there have been rumours of another X-Men retro wave, but there doesn't appear to be a standard X-Men wave, which is kind of a bummer. If they do the same thing next year, it could mean two years without the standard X-line, and this is about as first world as it gets, but I've got a long list of 616 figures I'm hankering for and I'm not getting any younger. (:
If next year got a bonus Age of Apocalypse wave in addition to the standard May wave, like last year's X-Force wave, I'd be stoked, but a Deadpool wave just isn't an X-Men wave, even if it has Maverick and a few X-Force characters in it. Oh, right, and I guess there are some movie figures this year, but those will be the first X-Men Legends I skip. Just not my thing. I'm actually dreading the inevitable upcoming MCU infusion into X-Men Legends. As with regards to X-Men BAFs, as much as I'm whining about wanting more 616, what big characters are even left for people to get upset about not getting in lieu of some of the bigger Age of Apocalypse characters? Nimrod and Strong Guy were the only ones I ever heard requested and we're already getting both this year. Rockslide, Gentle, etc. don't seem like they have a ton of fans. The Morlocks, Marauders, and Acolytes all had some big characters, but nobody I think anyone would call essential. Honestly, the vast majority of the major X-Men and their major villains already have recent figures of at least one look. New stabs at Blob, Mojo, and the Brood would be great, and Armor could be cool, but it doesn't seem like there's a ton of "essential" stuff left in the over-sized character department. |

90s X-Factor team is not yet complete, we still need Wolfsbane is her 90s X-Factor outfit.

Also has Harbringer and Ultra Seven mentioned, Cameron Hodge and Cho'd. Also something Phalanx-y would all be neat. Edit: AOA aside I think most likely would be Rockslide, Armor , Ch'od, Emplate and Astral Shadow King. I say that because the rest of what I listed is so very story specific, these five actually have a longer history in X-Men lore. |
In regards to X-men, I would love to see the Starjammers, Members of the Imperial guard and the Marauders. I think Warstar would be a cool BAF and I'd love a Harpoon,Greycrow and Oracle figure. Starbolt would be a cool visual as well.
I'd also love to see the Outback X-men finished. |

(That's not hating on you, because that's mad cool that you've got one, but I know plenty of people who don't, and can't justify the cost) As far as other X-BAFs... I agree that Rockslide, Armor, and Ch'od seem like safe bets. I'd lobby for Tusk - despite being a low-profile character, he's arguably the most well-known of the Riders of the Storm/Dark Riders, having received a figure back in the 5" days, a speaking/plot-relevant appearance in the 90s cartoon (as well as featuring in the second Japanese opening sequence!), and being a boss from the Mutant Apocalypse SNES game. Astral Armor Shadow King is a good bet. I suppose one of the problems with any other potential BAFs is that they're all characters who don't appear much outside of with their given teams - Blockbuster, Sunder, Hemingway, Mondo, a number of Acolytes, Slab... I guess a tree-based Black Tom wouldn't be off the table. Or a Mammomax. Related-but-off-topic question - if Hasbro released a Generation X Penance, would they release her as "Marvel's Penance," or "Marvel's Hollow," on the off-chance that they'd do Civil War Penance, aka Speedball/Bleedball? |

Abyss, Mikhail, and Holocaust are the only Age of Apocalypse characters on my Marvel Legends wish list, I'll settle for them in a four pack with Mr. Sinister.
