How about a new Madame Hydra?
And a new Zola would be great that is based on Kirby's art. |
I want Hasbro to release an army builder Hellfire Club Soldier or Hand Ninja next.

Just getting back around to their comment about Dawn Of X/Powers Of X figures - Nimrod obviously, but aside from that the only figures I think I would really want are Storm and Cyclops. Maybe Magneto. What's everyone else want to see?
@Dolemite, regarding the Sentinel. Exactly. I would love it, but there's just no room for many people for something like that. I realize it wouldn't be massively mass produced but they still have to have enough orders to justify making it. I just....ugh. between size and cost I already know I'm not in the market for it. |
I'd be all in for a better scaled Sentinel and I bet they'd have more then enough interest to make it happen. If folks can spend $80 for a Mezco figure or $200+ for a 1/12 Hot Toys figure then they sure as hell can spend $200+ for a large Sentinel.

Got my eye on Retro Spider-Man, Green Goblin and Electro.

The Walmart Black Widow exclusive arrived today. Ordered 2. One is perfect. The other has a scratch or bad paint job on the upper torso. Also receive Weapon X from Age of Apocalypse. Not sure which one has the best hair.

Moon Knight is pretty sweet.

So looking at some of these reveals, I'm almost 99% sure Tigra is coming sooner rather than later. We've got a lot of West Coast Avengers coming out this year. There's Moon Knight (although it looks like he was rocking more gold during his stint with them), War Machine. Legendary Riders Hawkeye is rumored and we're also supposed to be seeing U.S. Agent this year. I also wouldn't be surprised to see an updated White Vision on the Sunfire body as some sort of fan channel exclusive either. I also believe Silver Centurion Iron-Man has been rumored as well.
Doing Tigra also brings Hasbro 90% of the way there to getting X-Factor Wolfsbane and X-Force Feral (or vice-versa), which are two teams that Hasbro has been pushing to complete. From there, I assume snowball effect will be in play and Hasbro will put out more of the core members of that team to round out the rest of the roster. |
Hmm...I was watching ShartimusPrime's video and he mentioned that Hasbro said that the planned SDCC exclusives are still being released and both are X-Men related, with one being movie based and the other being comic based.
Now I'm curious what those might be. Maybe the Sebastian Shaw that was teased will be part of a Hellfire Club boxset with White Queen Emma Frost? |

I pre-ordered Apocalypse as soon as I could. I like seeing from the in-box picture that his cape is removable since it might not look good in more dynamic poses.
Moon Knight looks great and I'll definitely pursue him but having the Homecoming-wave figure certainly relieves the stress a good deal since Walgreens exclusives have had varying turnouts at my local stores. We could still get Mr Knight down the road too. |
Gah I missed the Moon Knight! It's okay, I will keep my eyes open, I only need one. And I have the toy biz one, that, unlike many other Toy Biz figures, holds up passably, if not well. I did not buy the one from a few years back because I only want classic Moonie. And besides, when the series eventually comes out, we'll definitely get another go at it.

Walgreens exclusives are usually easy enough to find in store. The Thing was the only one in recent memory I had a hard time tracking down.

For you, maybe. Although granted, the last two I was looking for, I did find 4 out of 6 (of 3 each) at stores, so maybe so. |

I love the reveals today. Spider-Man, Electro and Gwen Stacy with the alternate Mary Jane Watson head are my favorites of the retro wave. Electro is lightyears better than the modern Electro figure, especially since this one has alternate hands and a better head sculpt. Plus, Electro's classic costume is my favorite of his and Electro's one of my Top 5 favorite Spider-Man villains so he's a must-buy. I will likely get Green Goblin, but the eyes on the mask are very disappointing. I was surprised by how awesome Moon Knight turned out to be. He's another must-buy, but I hate that he's a Walgreens exclusive.
As for the vague "wait and see" answers of the interview, I'm sure we'll get the full details on the possible Amazing Friends retro figures, Powers of X and House of X figures, the rumored Hellfire Club characters, future retro Toy Biz waves, and the X-Men movie figures during mid-summer. All I really want from Hasbro now, if they're reading, are more retro Spider-Man figures (Chameleon, J. Jonah Jameson, Shocker, Boomerang, Hobgoblin, John Romita Sr. version of green-and-orange suit Doc Ock with bendable wire tentacles, Black Cat, classic Kaine and non-Build-A-Figures for Sandman, Lizard and Rhino, please), more X-Men movie figures ('X2' Cyclops, Jean Grey, Lady Deathstrike, Magneto, Nightcrawler and Storm, 'X-Men: The Last Stand' Beast, Iceman, Rogue and Shadowcat, 'Days of Future Past' Quicksilver, 'Apocalypse' Psylocke and a 'Logan' two-pack of Logan and X-23, please), classic lab coat Bruce Banner, orange-and-black suit Leader, classic White Queen, classic "Secret Wars" era original suit Rogue, classic Falcon, classic Captain Marvel II, Ringmaster, Constrictor, Mr. Hyde, Ultron, Kang, the Fantastic Four and She-Hulk in their John Byrne era blue-and-white F.F. suits, Mr. Fix-It Gray Hulk, an easy-to-find Jim Lee Cyclops with an optic blast accessory, Merged/Professor Hulk in his brown Pantheon era jumpsuit, and a classic scaly-chainmail Captain America repainted with brighter suit colors, a smiling Captain America head sculpt based on John Byrne's artwork and his round and triangular shield accessories with straps on the inside to fit the shield(s) on the figure's arm. Now if we could just get some retro Toy Biz animated series figures for the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, X-Men, etc., we'd be in business. And really, who wouldn't want animated series figures for characters like Iron Man, Doc Ock and Morph? |
I'm so glad Hasbro went with a larger body for Electro this time around. I'm doubly glad I never pulled the trigger on buying the scrawny 2016 version off ebay.
