You jammy little sod! How the hell did you find FOUR HEIMDALLS?

Unrelated: How often do Hasbro announce new figures? Is it just at events like SDCC and NYCC?!?

evilanimation 10-19-2011 04:55 PM

Take it you bought 4 because you can sell them for about 3 times the ammount you bought them for right?

Boba Fettuccini 10-19-2011 05:01 PM

Would you be up for trading for one of those?

Well you're a very decent bloke. They're all sold out again now... gotta be tons of people after him that don't go here... I only want him because he's hard to find... Makes no sense to me... >.< Is this addiction?

Lets put it into a different form of addiction:
"I want to smoke the only blue Marijuana plant in existance, just because it's blue"

I'd actually think it's more like hoarding though... I have this thing for keeping the packaging as long as possible... even though I've ripped it open!

D00MTR0N 10-19-2011 05:21 PM

once your low on money that whole gotta have it cause its rare thing goes away, trust me lol.

We are collocters. We want rare and hard to find things. It feels like an achievment to know part of what we has is coveted by others.

used to be like that til I took around me and realized how full of shit my room was. Vehicle boxes are one thing, but I was keeping 60+ single card figure pakcaged stashed around. I won't keep any anymore. Now I'm much choosier.

That said, I do want one of these Heimdalls, but I know that if they go to other members my like will go on.

Good on you Evilanimation!
Great to see the Ark Support for our ongoing adiction.

So..I've been checking out the new Astonishing Wolvie and wgile he's an incredible sculpt, I'm a bit disapointed in his not having bicep swivel- it limits what poses you can do with those claws!

Someone here did an awesome job of seperating the clwas with an X-Acto knife and when I do that, I plan on shortening them some- it always bugs me to see his claws longer than his forearms.
Where would they retract to?!?

I think people have asked where the claws go since he was created.

Boba Fettuccini 10-19-2011 06:14 PM

A bicep swivel would be fairly easy to add though.

Jason Abbadon 10-19-2011 06:20 PM

You think? Beyony my humble abilities there.

s to the claws- they're only supposed to be 12" long in total, with 2" remaining inside the hand to lock them in place.
This actually worked well when they were still bionic additions, but hen they retconned the claws to be made from bone (so stupid!) and now nothing makes sense.

Ever break a bone? Imagine one sticking out of your arm and you slashing anything with it...the worst mutation ever, right there.
Maybe it scared off enemies by Logan's pained screams as he writhed in pain....

Really, even Beak's mutation was more practical.

I've designed my own joints a few times. It can be done. When working on my 'avengers movie' Wolverine, though, I stole the elbow joints from the blaster-armor Thor so they could rotate.

Dude...lets not talk about marvel powers and how they work practical or else we will be forced to discuss rather X23 ... how can I put this nicely ....bleeds everytime with a guy.
