Damn... that's huge... must be all deluxe figures or box sets that will come with a BAF piece.

Veronica Mars 05-23-2020 01:21 AM

Maybe the giant BaF will be in a Pet Avengers wave

En Sabah Nerd 05-23-2020 01:41 AM

My thoughts on the "biggest BAF" are that it'll be either Galactus or a Celestial. Hasbro has yet to deliver a 6" scale Galactus, just the MU one which can be used as a stand-in since he dwarfs Toybiz's BAF. Celestials are simply massive so in that way they'd fit the bill for largest BAF because even then it'd be too small for correct scaling. I know the Celestials aren't mainstream popular yet but they will allegedly be heavily featured in the Eternals movie so that might change.

warmachine6 05-23-2020 03:49 AM

i hope their biggest BAF is someone like galactus i'd imagine it would be someone well known within the comics. It would be very risky for them to do something new like a celestial, i'd say they should consider it after the movie, maybe do a fan poll to see if people will invest. If they go the haslab route anyone outside the US might miss out as well due to shipping prices varying on how the distrubute it. (correct me here if im wrong due to not ordering a haslab product)

You know, when they say biggest, it could just be someone who's really tall. Stilt Man?

Ron Jeremy? ;)

Not sure if anyone posted it in this thread yesterday but Diamond is rereleasing their Mighty Thor figure. This is the one that has the spinning hammer effect and is generally expensive and incomplete on the secondary market. If anyone is interested in the figure, it's available for preorder on BBTS.

kenm2474 05-23-2020 11:41 AM

Well I did It.
I Pre-Ordered The Age Of Apocalypse Wave, G.I.Joe Wave, and The Age Of Apocalypse Apocalypse Figure.

NICE!

Who would like to buy my select Thor without the spinning hammer months from now?

Boy Blunder 05-23-2020 01:47 PM

AoA Weapon X arrived today, and he's... well, he exists.

Like, design aside (I feel he's one of the weakest AoA redesigns), he's mostly fine, but his head has some seriously atrocious gapping due to how high it suits on the ball joint. There's only a few angles where, between that and his oversized hair, he doesn't look like a Pez dispenser.

Thor Laserpunch 05-23-2020 01:57 PM

That massive wild coif look for Wolverine can stay forever back in the mid 90s imho.

Yeah. I don't know why they Weapon X is the double pack in the case. I went to Walmart and the only legends they had were 3 Weapon X figures. I also don't get the logic of putting a leg in with the double packed figure. So now there are 2 left legs for every complete Sugar Man out there? Why not the hammer instead? There are things that an extra hammer could be used for, but no one wants that extra left stumpy leg for anything.

Dr Kain 05-23-2020 02:53 PM

My wife bought me the new Winter Soldier figure today. He's pretty cool, but I wish he had the Soviet star on his arm instead of the American one as I really wanted evil Bucky. My only other gripe is what was the point of molding a handgun in a holster when they could have just allowed the holster to hold the handgun he came with? Now I have a handgun and no place to store it on him. Oh, and the assault rifle is extremely soft as if it was a bendy toy without a wire.

Other than those, the sculpt and paint apps are solid all around. Now if I could only find a Crossbones with a good paint job...

EvilMonkeyPope 05-23-2020 02:55 PM

There's a gun with a drum magazine that's come with Deadpool, Walgreens Punisher, & AIM scientist. One review called it a tactical shotgun, but it doesn't match any photos of the genuine articles. Can anyone identify the make of this firearm?

As excited as all the new reveals are, can't get ahead of myself- i have a ton of brand new figures that just came out that I've yet to find time to "play" with...

"Classic" Thanos looks incomplete without his codpiece being gold.

It's a street sweeper shotgun.

lol! the double handed nut shot was the last pic but the angle wasn't working so i had to swing out to the side and it killed the double-fisted illusion!

its just a couple panels and a base i threw together yesterday after realizing i didn't really have anything for cosmic pics (outside the giant closet dio- lolz) Panels are super easy to make and let me re-arrange shots.. And store super easy.
