Stopped by Target on the way home from Moo thru (fresh ice cream place out in the middle of farm country in VA). They had entire wave of BW, Target BW Exclusive, Deluxe BW, AoA wave missing Jean Grey, Ms Marvel and Rage from Gamerverse, Thing from FF line. I have never seen that much ML at that Target.

Just listened through the Marvel Livestream, again... Once again so excited/terrified of the upcoming X-men related SDCC releases.
Luckily in the past, the SDCC exclusives have been figures that I could just generally do with-out or just cherry pick online at a later date...Don't think I'm gonna have that option this year. What do you guys think about the SDCC exclusives? I've heard quite a bit of speculation on the comic release, but very little on the cinematic exclusive. |
Well Red Hulk arrived today...I must say this is one solid figure!! Love it!

Natasha arrived today, I think she's perfect, but something's a little off. Can't put my finger on it...

The movie set, I honestly have no idea. I do know that I am likely to either get absolutely nothing from the X-verse movie lines, or go whole hog and get almost everything. Due to lack of space and trying to cut back on cost, it's almost certainly going to be the latter for me. If I had to guess though I'd say a set from Fox's most widely praised main X-Men line movie, DOFP: Storm, Wolverine, Kitty, Iceman, Bishop, and Blink. Or less likely, possibly the Dark Phoenix line up: Storm, Jean, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and two of either Beast, Mystique and Quicksilver. Or a five pack from either of those sets. Quote:
and I was reading on Fwoosh that Dorkside got their AOA cases in and are shipping them out this week/maybe next week? No word on Black Widow waves singles..but I'm sure soon. |
Isn't 2020 suppose to be a big year for the X-Men in terms of Marvel Legends Figures?

You can take my Emma, but you’ll never take my spanky pants.

Well they did say more Team Sets were in the works like the Alpha Flight set. And they said they had a new troop builder that was not a repack. SOOOO That would lead me to believe it could very well be a Hellfire Club Soldier (Hand ninja is a close second), that would be a pretty basic body with a new head. AND if the shoe tease is for Shaw, That would lead me to conclude the next ( Amazon) box set might be Hellfire Club Set w/ White Queen Emma, Shaw, Black Queen Selene ( with Jean Grey alternate head) and possibly Mastermind and Pierce.
Personally I want a classic comic 2 pack of early appearance Mystique with her dark grey skin a new head sculpt to match and Destiny with alternate unmasked head . |
I should have Sugarman complete by Friday.
I hope wave 2 gives us Holocaust |

Poor Leland though, I think most of us that have listed a 5 pack have left him out. But for practical reasons, he would be the one requiring the most new parts if we take the victorian era outfits reuse for more standard sized figures into account. |
Quick questions:
How well do Mezco One:12 figures scale with Marvel Legends? I only ask because I want to do a DC vs Marvel display but I refuse to touch the McFarlane figures and the Mattel Multiverse figures are getting harder to obtain, with some getting close to hitting One:12/Figma prices. |

2099
Hey I have a question, why has the 2099 characters been ignored by our Marvel Legends team at Hasbro? I am so happy that Age of Apocalypse is coming out right now and I have been wishing for them to start making that line and now I move on to another project of systematic harassment for 2099 characters to hit our shelves one day.

I feel like Spiral has to be pretty high on Hasbro's list of updates to do. She's one of the 28 characters listed by Wikipedia as the X-Men's central rogues' gallery, of which 15 have already been done or are more or less confirmed for this year. At the rate they're ramping up X-Men releases the other 13 should pretty much all be out by 2022 or so, and Spiral has a pretty vocal fanbase (myself included).

I'd take Doom and Cap 2099. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/39/9c...4e6e856943.jpg https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20190930205437 But as to your question, Legends seems to not do too many alternate universes period. Even in the Ultimate line, they've only done a few characters (Cap, Iron Man, Miles Morales, that TERRIBLE Wolverine, ect.) |
