That Cap it your Sig. Is he available in the ML line?

usagent27 08-19-2012 04:32 PM

He is coming in Wave 3. The one in my signature is a different person than Captain america. Although Captain america wore the costume for a few years. This character is John Walker aka Super Patriot.

Hey guys, I like to post stuff in here to try and help out some fellow collectors. :]

I was going through Tokunation's BST threads (I can mention them since they're a sister site, right? Can a mod remove this if I can't, please. :])

Anyway, I was looking, and in layman's terms, this guy has a shit-ton of legends for sale. Some good stuff too. So, here you go guys, I don't know about his feedback or anything, just saw all the legends.

It's just coloured A2 Card from a stationery outlet but it's had a really good looking impact I think. I need to go back and buy a whole rainbow of Card-stock.

Thanks for being so kind to share links like this. More often than not, collectors can be like them seagulls in Finding Nemo. Holler if you feel me. So your act of selflessness is refreshing. I encourage you to continue on that path.

In regards to the guy who is selling all that stuff, it boggles my mind how some dudes are in need of selling fast (this dude is going thru a divorce) but yet they literally price their goods w ebay-esque prices. I mean, WTF. People nowadays yearn for bargains more than ever. Asking $200 for BAF Ares or even $100 for Crossbones is b.a.n.a.n.a.s.

If I want to get violated, ebay at least offers buyers protection.

FancyPants 08-19-2012 11:19 PM

I got another wave 1 steve rogers with solid shield for 10 shipped loose. PMs ;)

I think your statement is a bit harsh and quick to judge. Not sure if you've had a death in the family, divorce, accident or sudden bill and forced with a $500-5000 bill and not have the $$ to cover it ? Aside from doing the obvious and work overtime, the next thing to do is loans, and then sell your stuff. When selling your stuff to pay off debt, the goal is: to maximize your profits! So,.. Why not ask the going market/ebay rates?, Why offer others a deal when life isn't offering you one?

This is not the same as somebody buying doubles and trying to scalp for some extra $$, this is someone trying to survive and pay bills. I'd rather throw up the longshot and ask $100, then ask $50 and think later," I should of asked more, I probably could of got it" . Personally most people in that position wouldn't turn away a decent offer, but ask more because they need the maximum payout from their items. They're not hoping it gets them $20, they're hoping to get $200 like some idiot overpaid for on ebay last week.

Plus we're dealing with toys, in most cases selling them is your last option and something you hold off doing, plus personally, I'd rather sell 1-2 really desirable high end figures such as Crossbones and Ares for full price, then nickel and dime it with common figures and sell my whole collection.

Agreed. The way I understood Shockwave's comment though, is that if the sellers needs money fast, he could ask for a lower price. That would get him the funds quicker. On the other hand, asking to low of a price may mean a quick sale, but not as much money. The seller needs to find a balance I guess. Hopefully this makes sense. It's 3am and I need sleep badly!

I'm glad somebody understood my point. I hate having to explain myself. I'm a writer. If I wasn't clear the first time, that means I fucked up my draft and have to rewrite.

In this case, after an entire day spent at Disneyland w my family, I have no interest or energy to rewrite.

Thx grayfox.

Thanks to everyone for the info on Scarlet Spidey. I don't really plan on opening him up if I do buy him, so what do you guys think I should go with?

I mean honestly, If I'm short $30 for rent, and only have toys to sell to make the extra $$ I'd rather only have to sell 3 at $10 then 6 at $5, yes I may get the $$ faster for selling cheaper, but I pissed away more $$ buying having to sell for less and sold more of collection in the process. I'm all for helping out fellow arkers, my feedback page speaks for itself, but if I'm in a desperate need for $$ then I want to sell as little of my stuff as possible but try to get the maximum amount of $$ made. either way, topic is pointless at the point.

Back to ML.... anybody have an extra hope piece from MU's Cable, or shoulderpads from ML cable?

usagent27 08-20-2012 08:29 AM

Just snagged series 4 Beast for 13 shipped!
