Does anyone know who has ordered through Dorkside know what it means when they say a Partial on your ordered. I ordered 3 things. Apocalypse Apocalypse figure, G.I.Joe Wave and AoA Wave?

I would think it means one of the items you ordered came in. I been hearing they got the AOA wave in so it maybe that.

Dodge76 05-31-2020 06:45 PM

I really like that Pirate Deadpool figure. It caught me by surprise. Something I don't need but cute to add to the shelf.

Not really. I mean, yeah, there's an overabundance of Deadpools, sure. I agree with that. But that's the case for any "cash" figure for a toyline. See also: any toyline involving Batman to any capacity.

But the Deadpool waves arguably act as additional X-Men waves, which is fine by me. I am patiently awaiting many of the figures you mentioned, but I'm also in it to build up my ML X-Folks collection.

Also, "every other month" is a pretty severe overexaggeration, even for this board.

I agree. The neck piece could be for the rumored Hellfire members.

Oh, man! Didn’t even think of that. The skirt could also be used for Jason Wyngarde.

Probably not, but as is the case with any cash cow the character, the reason he's getting made over the figures you just mentioned is that he's 1000 X more likely to sell than any of those.

Also Siryn and Rictor

lordbest 05-31-2020 10:02 PM

Jeff! Truly a golden age for Marvel Legends. Not the best wave for my interests but I'll be getting Warpath, Jeff & Shiklah.

I don't mind the Deadpools and Wolverines so much. Every time they put out 1 or 2 of those guys, I get 3-5 X-Men figures I am interested in. I just leave the Deadverines at the store and the people that want them can have them. Everybody wins. Even Hasbro.

100% agree, need Siryn as well

MeLikeJinx 06-01-2020 02:05 AM

Yah, why couldn't we have gotten Siryn, Rictor and classic Domino instead of 2 DPs and feet Shark lady?

Boy Blunder 06-01-2020 06:32 AM

You leave Jeff out of this, he's a good boy and deserves to be released.

Dodge76 06-01-2020 06:34 AM

I did a kitbash Siryn that someone else did. Take the green Polaris body from the 2nd X-Men Warlocke BAF wave and stick the Retro Black Widow head from the first Retro wave they did on it and you got a not bad Siryn pass off. I been having X-23 take Ferel's place on the team.It looks mostly complete and will look better once Warpath arrives. Just some ideas. I don't take credit for the Siryn one because I got that one off the internet.

Spyne98 06-01-2020 07:22 AM

That Deadpool wave is ok. I'll get it all, because I want the BAF, but I don't need 2 more Deadpools, especially Pirate Deadpool. That's so lame.
Edit, I also agree with the calls for the rest of X-Force. Syrin (that I made a custom of but would prefer and official one), Rictor and Feral are characters I really want. I would have traded pirate Deadpool and his wife for any of these.

Dr Kain 06-01-2020 07:30 AM

Who the hell is Jeff?

...that's Jason Wyngarde.

Jeff is the landshark packed in with Shiklah. First appeared in the most recent West Coast Avengers run, with various appearances since. Adopted by Gwenpool and Quentin Quire, then left with Elsa Bloodstone, and currently (I think?) living with Deadpool.

I already edited it after scrolling up. I thought that one guy was talking about Jason Wyngarde. I am trying to stay awake for when the Deadpool wave goes up for pre-order.

Remember when Rogue was peg-warming? Pepperidge Farms Remembers! Back when nobody thought we would ever see a full Jim Lee X-Men team and nobody wanted Rogue but everyone was buying up brown suit Wolverine... Well a few cheap Rogues were the perfect classic Siryn- the puffy jacket sleeves and yellow/green colors. Now-days everyone wants insane $$$ for her- but back then it was just more cheap fodder-

That looks pretty awesome!

Captain Nash 06-01-2020 08:45 AM

Um, Piratepool doesn't look bad or anything, but I was so sure Dead Man Wade (from AOA) would be a lock. Now that figure, that easily could have gone in a Deadpool wave, will take up a slot in another AOA wave. Because you know they're going to give us Dead Man Wade....probably instead of Storm or Iceman o_O. Anyways, the set will be preordered, I want enough of it already, want to be sure I get Sunspot, and I won't begrudge the Strong Guy figure.

Boy Blunder 06-01-2020 09:16 AM

See, I know a number of people seem a bit chafed about PiratePool, but I like him a hell of a lot more than Blue X-Pool. He's the right kind of silly, the kind that takes me back to the 90s era of toylines, when you could get things like Jungle Attack Batman or Pirate Joker.

EDIT: Official reveal photos, including high-res closeups of the figures, are up on MarvelousNews now. Glad to see that Maverick's gun is the same one he had in the old Toy Biz line.
