You're welcome everyone that wants the Hellfire Club for Non-SDCC.
I started this just before they revealed the Shaw foot.

Regardless of camera quality...the Emma Frost figure is PHENOMENAL!!! Great job on both!

The white balance was off and they're a little underexposed but it's not a bad camera.

I took the new AoA Jean hair and put it on Danvers. I colorized the second pic to match her Endgame look. Now if only I weren't so bad with paint...

Thank you. The secret sauce is to use a Typhoid Mary upper torso so the flesh tones match. The White Rabbit upper torso is white plastic with painted flesh, but the Typhoid Mary upper torso is flesh tone plastic with white paint.

Thanks, I am also not a very good photographer. They look better now.

Just go for it. When you are painting the hair, brush strokes don't matter much. If you want some tips, let me know.

White Rabbit torso for Emma? What did you use to fill in the groove for the pocket watch?

Upper is Typhoid Mary and lower is White Rabbit. My post above yours explains why. I shaved the watch off very carefully and sanded it a bit. The watch is white, so I just left it in as filler. I added the tiniest bit of milliput and then wiped it off to fill in a couple gaps on the edges. Then the whole lower torso got a couple coats of paint so everything was even.

Karen Danvers needs to speak to the manager right now, lol.

Really hoping that Hasbro can start to figure out just how low the heads on their figures should be set. While I don't mind dremeling out a head every now and again for a better fit, the past few waves (in particular the BW and XM waves) have been plagued by this issue.

I've had to modify the heads of at least 4 figures in each of those waves because they sat way too high on the neck, with the figure suffering from lollipop syndrome. Yelena, Weapon X and Jean Grey were particularly bad, the amount of gap between the head and the neck was ridiculous.

On another random thought....is anyone kinda disappointed that Pirate Deadpool doesn't have pirate boots? Kinda irks me a bit as I can easily see myself having to buy another fodder figure just to swap a pair onto that one.

For anyone else who's been getting antsy waiting over the upcoming SDCC reveals, I went back and looked at the announcement dates of the ML SDCC exclusives from last year.

Retro comic Hulk was announced first on Wednesday, June 19th and then the MCU Collector/Grandmaster set was announced the following Monday on June 24th.

None of this correlates to what they might do this year, hopefully we'll see something sooner than later.

sh002 06-03-2020 09:04 AM

If the SDCC exclusive this year is in fact X-Men related, then I hope that it won’t be too difficult to order from Hasbro Pulse. Last year the Marvel Legends Hulk and Black Series Vintage Boba Fett sold out quick for me.

Am I the only one that would like to see Agents of Shield Legends for the last season based off the characters most iconic appearances?

No but I'm skeptical Hasbro would commit to anything beyond a new Coulson and Quake if they even do them. I am a fan of Mac and his shotgun-axe but in general I don't imagine there's enough appeal.

Everything.
I just emptied my parts bin and used everything.

Not really, but almost.

From the top:
Custom cast helmet
Cuckoo head
Hair from Black Cat and Mohawk Storm
Necklace is from an Animated Batman figure
Torso and upper legs are Retro Dazzler
3 arms are from Disco Dazzler with 1 partial wrist armor from Polaris
2 arms are from Polaris
1 arm is built from the 2 forearms of Angela and some of Polaris' wrist armor
Pair of tilting hands from Deluxe Black Widow
Harness is from Silver Sable
Jewelry is made from Silver Sable leg pouches and Polaris wrist armor
Gauntlets from Riders Black Widow
Belt is from Retro Dazzler, Gwenpool, and part of Silver Sable harness for a buckle
Leg pouches are from Silver Sable
Lower legs are White Rabbit
Feet are Songbird
5 Articulated Icons swords and 1 Valkyrie sword

Plus another Retro Dazzler torso that I destroyed and a Disco Dazzler torso I tried again on before I used the second Retro Dazzler and got the 6 arms thing to work.

I also have a Silver Sable head for an alternate.

Technically; her hair isn't her AoA style (it's from her Exile days), but she's still an AoA-native character.

In sad news... was digging into the storage bin of non-displayed figures, and found horrors...

Nope! I'd take at least May, Mockingbird, Madame Hydra, Ruby Hale, Raina, Graviton, Mr. Hyde, & Ghost Rider.
I wish Hasbro would make that Endgame Captain Marvel.

Same thing happened to my King Cobra and one of my Target 3 pack Ultrons. Screw repair worked like a charm tho.

I second the screw repair method.
