And her response is, "Are you sure you don't want to grab them now while you see them? You might regret it later." I'm all thinking, "God dammit woman, don't, just don't. I mean, they are cool, but no, I have to stay strong." lol

I remained strong, but now as I type this I kind of wish I had picked them up.

You married well sir!

My wife is usually like that too, but she has to reel me in sometimes, lol.

Actually Toybiz did make Age of Apocalypse Cyclops with the Shadow King in a jar extra accessory. Too bad the Cyclops figure is the old Toybiz 3 inch/4 inch figure with less articulation but it has some nice accessories

Yep, that was my brother’s treasured fig along with this Gambit fig. I can’t wait for Hasbro’s take on AoA Cyclops.

Ah, the good old X-Men Classics Light-Up series. That remains my favorite Gambit figure ever. I know that there have been better figures since then, that this figure's elbows can't bend and it's not in scale with any Marvel Legend figure. But the sculpting is nice, the light-up card was a cool feature and it was just a lot of fun to play with. Unfortunately, my figure was broken in a move and I had to throw it out. I do have my Toy Biz Age of Apocalypse Cyclops, though I think the accessories are gone.

I also loved the Toy Biz Monster Armor Cyclops they made after the Light-Up Classics wave, which they later reused and repainted with a new head for the X-Men vs. Street Fighter Cyclops figure. That Cyclops was cool too, with the removable bomber jacket and optic blast accessory, but I prefer the brighter suit colors of the Monster Armor figure. I swear, if Hasbro made a Marvel Legends figure of the Jim Lee Cyclops with bright suit colors, a removable bomber jacket and an optic blast accessory, I'd never need to buy another Cyclops again.

It's probably gonna be something like...

1. Tiger Stripe Wolvie
2. Cyclops (Warlock wave)
3. Rogue
4. 80th Colussus
5. Amazon Magneto
6. Storm
7. Nightcrawler

With the baf being a re-release of either Juggernaut or Apocalypse.

In other words...nothing to lose your mind over...unless you missed out on some of those older, harder to find figures.

So that's what everyone is talking about? Interesting. My guesses are that Cyclops with the orange/red X on his face from the TRU wave... and also Jim Lee Rogue and Blue variant Psylocke. And an Apocalypse BAF re-release, but I can see them making the BAF new just to screw with people. And I can't believe we went this long without a Astonishing Wolvie redo.

Is the Best of X-Men Wave a UK release/re-release?

Look how much Caliban wave Beast is now. Im still a little mad I didnt buy blue Beast last year when I had the chance.

Even Dark Beast got snatched up right away by someone else when I went over to look at the movies and vidoegames for 10-15 frikkin minutes.

yeah Dark Beast has the other arms of Sugar Man but if Im really that desperate to get Dark Beast I could make another trip to the Gamestop shop or go to some other Walmart store to look around

It's not that I don't want them, I just have no where to put them until I can get another Detolf. I don't want to get another Detolf because what if we need that money for something more important later on in the summer? Without another stimulus package and second hand stores to sell unwanted DVDs and BDs to, I don't know how much I will be able to make over the next few months, especially now that they are saying the new school year might continue to be online only until November before the governor allows schools to go back to teaching physically.

Sure, I've recently sold over $2000 worth of stuff between ebay and the internet, but do I really want to take that chance? I know my personal philosophy is "Buy now, regret later," but in this current economic crisis, I'm not sure I can continue that philosphy at this time.

I've also budgeted myself for certain things. Like I've got $140 in cash sitting in my PS4 Spider-Man case specifically for the upcoming vintage wave figures.

EDIT: er, maybe I'm just overthinking it right now due to being tired.

If I'm not mistaken...Apocalypse came with the bottled up Shadow King, which I have in a box somewhere. I'm not sure who the brain/eyeball character is with Cyclops.

You are correct, and it says on the box that it's a "cybernetic guardian" of some sort.

I wish Hasbro would just make fists and splayed finger hands standard.

Rogue needs a hand with the left holding the right glove like the Select figure.

asian ninja Psylocke. No thanks.

How about 1980s British Betty Braddock where she did have pinkish/purple hair and she had some wild model fashion type clothes. Thats the Psylocke I grew up with in the 1980s.

I'm really hoping that is the Psylocke that will be in the Nimrod package, but it'll probably be just a lame ass repaint of the one we have.

Holy shit! I never would have guessed. Based on the way you type and the content of your posts, I thought you were something like a 14 year-old child.

Betsy.

I don't think that outfit would fit in with that version of Nimrod... also would not make sense thematically to have Fantomex with her in that costume. I'm sure it will be some modern version.

I feel like we will get a full outback team with her in that outfit eventually though.

Captain Nash 06-08-2020 10:17 AM

I'm throwing my bid in for Australian Outback era Armored Psylocke. But yeah it'll almost surely be a repaint of what we already have.

urrutiap 06-08-2020 10:21 AM

It must be nice or you, Dustin to be a total asshole making smart ass replies to me or anyone.

Really?

You do realilze that British Betty Braddock was around way bbefore the stupid asian ninja thing.

Like I said, Hasbbro needs to make British Betty Braddock in one her stylish model type fashion clothes and she did have pinkish/purple hair at the time. I know my X-Men comics from back then.

K what's that have to do with this look for Nimrod foo'? Don't make me get slap happy.

Also, it's clearly, "User named Ustin" so you should address him by the name Ustin.

You know your X-Men huh?

Hasbro will never make a "Betty Braddock" because it's BETSY or ELIZABETH.
