They did, but Sage was mostly during the Claremont run, which was... best left forgotten.

I agree on those two. I would be very happy with an original roster and would like to get Magnus and T-Bird too.

Like others have said on Exiles, AOA Sabretooth for sure, Nocturne, Sunfire, Mimic, maybe Beak and Thunderbird. We already have Blink, Morph, Longshot (though Toybiz), Sabretooth (Toybiz, but definitely want an update) Sasquatch (Toybiz), Nemesis and we have a Magik, though of course not the Exiles version and Spider-Man 2099 though maybe not the right outfit. I loved that comic up until Claremont took over, by that time I felt that as untouchable as he was during his peak, he'd lost his mojo completely.

For all his stellar work on X-Men in the "All-New, All-Different" era through to the 90s, every time he returned to mutant books, it felt like sad attempts by Marvel to catch lightning in a bottle a second time. His work on the "Revolution"-era books, his run on Wolverine (*coughSecretMarriageToVipercough*), the Excalibur/Exiles stuff... I can't speak of his run on X-Treme X-Men, since I never read it, but either way, his later work doesn't have the 'oomph'.

Nope, that's Gateway. Sage, AKA Tessa, was Sebastian Shaw's right-hand woman back in the Hellfire Club, who turned out to be a mole for Xavier, and joined up with the X-Men proper in the 2000s.

Okay, then I don't think I know Sage since none of that sounds familiar. Was he in either Fall of the Mutants or Inferno? Those are the only stories I have read that weren't in Omnibus form and they don't have the Outback era in the Omnibuses yet.

Gateway was in “Inferno.” To chime in about Claremont, I think he lost his enthusiasm for writing mutants some time in the late eighties, and just never got back the vigor and creativity that made his early work so kickass.

Went ahead and picked up the new Gamerverse version of Kamala. Fun figure- but rather than duller paint and combat boots I thnk they should have gone with either her hooded look or maybe just the Ms.Marvel shirt and jeans look she wears...
