Same. They seem to be doing the same as thunderbolts, one per year. Both teams need a box set!

En Sabah Nerd 06-11-2020 12:40 PM

As long as we at least get actual classic Nova. They can do his red outfit but if they do that and not classic too then I'd be insulted and confused.

No...it's one of Hasbro's famous molded pieces.

I have both Winter Soldiers, but I still prefer the older one over the new one, despite it's issues with articulation. The sculpting and paints on the old one blows away the new one in every way.

hasbroherofan 06-11-2020 01:24 PM

Well looks like I gotta cop a PS5 now.

Boy Blunder 06-11-2020 01:44 PM

Hell yes. Looks like we can expect at least a Gamerverse Miles in the future.

SymbiSpidey 06-11-2020 02:20 PM

If you guys didn't play Spider-Man PS4, you need to do so ASAP. If it wasn't for Red Dead Redemption 2, it easily would have been my Game of the Year for 2018. I'm shocked to see the sequel is coming out so early.

warmachine6 06-11-2020 02:54 PM

just FYI just becasue it says "captured on PS5" might mean its also coming to PS4 as well, though could also be ps5 exculsive , but i hope not , sure it will run better on ps5 but i'd rather save money.

I would also think that since it's supposedly built with the PS4 version's engine and reuses assets, that it could be played on PS4, but they might he trying to keep it on PS5 to sell more units

Veronica Mars 06-11-2020 04:43 PM

I've watched a bunch of reviews on the DP wave, Sunspot specifically and every single reviewer has mentioned in one way or another how many times they've reused the blast effects, any chance Hasbro will take the hint?

I sure hope so. They REALLY need some new effects. They've been going on those for what 4-5 years now? But I have admit they look pretty cool with Sunspot. But I'd gladly take no more of them after that. I bet they'll use them as the "vibrating effects" for Avalanche  when he's done -which I guess will likely be next year so we'll see them for a bit more,

I think the first time we got them was either Shocker or Juggernaut wave Havok. Bet they'll also be used for Speedball and maybe Comic Sersi

Oh Speedball for sure! He even has the little bubble effects in the comics. Nooooo we're never going to be rid of these things! :D

The Sunspot figure has a a bubble effect attached to his neck/collar that I expect to see again with Speedball too

usernamedustin 06-11-2020 05:47 PM

At this point, I never need either of the ring effect pieces from Hasbro ever again. I would prefer that they added an alternate head or pair of hands and just stopped with over used effect parts.

Yup and yup. I hope it's removable. I appreciate the effort but I want options. I also wouldn't have minded a non-powered up Sunspot head but I wasn't expecting it. Maybe someone will make a cast or there's one out there already.

You mean the one in the holster? No, it's part of the mold. Not a fan of that since he came with a handgun with no place to put it.

Oh my god, that's funny because RDR2 is the whole reason I didn't play Spider-Man until early 2019 either. My entire Fall game wise was all dedicated to RDR2 exclusively. I started it the night it came out and finished it about a week before Xmas.

I'm not shocked about a sequel coming out this early though. It's not like they have to recreate NYC from scratch unless they add a new area.

Last review I saw, Sunspot's isn't removable

Boooo! Ah well, even if it's not technically removable it still could be...with some prodding. :D

That is quite possible, I won't know til October, Reviewers are saying they've paid about $45 per figure to get them early

I'm still hoping to get some more figures from the last game. Particularly some of the villains (Mr Negative, Ock, etc.) would be nice to see made but I'd also kind of like that version of MJ.

In an interview with Sony Interactive's boss he said that PS5 titles will not also be on PS4 because they "believe in generations."

Yup That is So Awesome. I have $1200.00 to put down on the PS5 and XBOX Series X. Just waiting for the Pre-Orders to start.

kenm2474 06-11-2020 09:56 PM

Strong Guy Wave Sunspot will go up for sale as my custom will not be beat.

That gritted teeth expression is what Hasbro should have gone with.
