Do JJ's arms plug straight into that elbow with no modding? Looks really clean.

Watch it, Venomized Aunt May will be the next Spidey BAF...:p

Yeah, pretty much. I just used a Klaue and a Six-armed Spidey. Basically the only modding required was removing both of the original forearms from Klaue, keeping the elbow joints intact. After that, it's just heat-&-popping the forearm pins from the Six-armed Spidey and transplanting the forearms over to the pre-existing Klaue elbow joints. Super easy.

It's just a kit-bash of parts. Started with a Netflix Elektra torso and removed the figure's red undershirt with acetone. The arms are from Polaris and the legs from MCU Peggy Carter. The skirt piece is from DC Collectibles' Ant Lucia Batwoman figure.

I got the Elektra part right

I don't think I would even be shocked at this point. Bring it!

Thats funny. I just dumped him at the lcbs last time I took some stuff into trade, but for a minute I was like "maybe I should save him for a JJJ body... nahhhh, doesn't look like any other arms will ever fit in there right." Oh well.

The JJ in that pic is a mod of the MCU Klau figure. The arms to that figure plug in at the elbow (similar to the female figures.) If you were to cut the tatted arms off by slicing through the peg (since they have seamless joints), you are left with a plug and disc, which can easily be fitted into another figure's forearms, provided you have a spare peg to fit through them.

There might be other options out there, but I found that the bare forearms from the six armed Spider-Man figure works the best, as they are of similar size, and come with the additional pegs you will need to attach them through that disc.

One of the Fwoosh's play date videos detailed how to do the mod...though I'm not sure which one exactly. Try checking the video tiles on YouTube, and if you see a play date with J Jonah...chances are that's the one.

Klaue and Six Arm Spider-Man were selling for cheap recently so I bought them to make Professor X without his suit jacket and tie.

Good eye! I've been playing around with this combination for awhile waiting for this head. Funny thing is I've already changed it again since posting that original picture. Wasn't liking how similar the torsos were for both Gwen and MJ, so swapped the Elektra torso for Netflix Jessica Jones' to create a lower neckline. I have a feeling I'll be doing little swaps like this for awhile.

Same. This happens to me all the time. Some random figure will have some super, unique part. I'll turn over my house looking for it, only to remember I sold it weeks ago because "I never really liked/wanted/needed that figure anyway"...

Thanks, couldn't remember where I first saw this kit-bash originally.

Finally snagged Mar'vell today at my local Tarjay & was finally able to do a long awaited Mar'vell vs Skrulls throwdown where Mar'vell finds out the hard way why Super Skrull has a "Super" in front of his name.

Is Hulkling also the son of Mar-vell as well?

Thor Laserpunch 06-12-2020 08:23 PM

Yeah but if my collection ever goes deep enough to include Hulkling I'm just gonna put all my stuff on the front lawn and you guys can take what you want.

Yes, he was conceived during the Kree-Skrull war.

I don't need to think about it. I was questioning if you think that is actually funny. Like, that's in such bad taste, do you really think it's comedy?

Dr Kain 06-13-2020 08:37 AM

To be fair, the way the glasses are done on the new Peter figure does make him look like Kevin from Sin City.

I don't understand whythey didn't do the glasses like they did for Billy in the Power Rangers line.

Thor Laserpunch 06-13-2020 08:55 AM

It was a vagina joke everybody. I'm sure Harbinger Weinstein really regrets saying it now.

And yes, those glasses are legit awful.

Not even close to that guy ya dingleberry. ;) And my only regret is not keeping my toybiz sentinels.

Those are terrible glasses. I dont remember him looking like that in the animated series either.

Yeah. Those dumb glasses made Parker a hard pass for me. They look really, really, bad.

I think it's more along the lines of "Donald Harbinger" and not "Harbinger Weinstein". It's more "jokes" in really bad taste and less actual assault.

It's comedy in the basement in which he dwells. I promise you, there is no getting the point across, I've tried, it's just easier to bang your head against the sidewalk and scroll past the posts without reading them
