I didn't like the Nolan Bat suits, Batfleck looked ok but I wasn't in love with his look, and I hated Battinson's suit. This is still my fav Batsuit so I'm ok with it even without the signature yellow utility belt.

I'm glad I was able to catch 89 Batman and the Batmobile for regular retail (19.99 and 59.99) on Amazon seeing how things have already gotten. I was still half asleep when I did my usual rounds on the internet and saw someone post the preorder links on Instagram. I immediately ordered and just went back to sleep for a little. Holy crap I lucked out because within that hour they had both sold out.

Not addressing you in particular but I keep seeing this: with people calling merch for Michael Keaton's "The Flash" Batman as '89 Batman, what are you going to do when an actual '89 Batman figure drops? It's going to get real confusing for people, especially with Flash wearing that modified Batsuit...

Don't really care. It's simple shorthand and so far it seems like we all understand the context because that has not yet happened. Maybe everyone will say " Classic 89" if they do make a "fresh off Mr. Mom" Batman but so far for me at least it's not an issue.

Why did they make a removable tiara if they weren’t going to engineer it to slot under the hair of her new head? Way to Mattel that up, Todd! She never throws it like a boomerang in this movie, so it’s another WW84 toy that’s not Cheetah.

Surprised it didn't get a figure line. But I guess after how the Black Adam wave pegwarmed and that these characters are all getting rebooted anyway Todd isn't bothering beyond something that was probably already in the works ie another DCEU Wonder Woman. Especially since this looks to just be the same old giantess figure from before with a new head.

Cool I like the Upgrade despite tiara not looking to fit. Must have been an afterthought to put in. I think ill be trimming it down see if i can get to just fit on the forehead . with beveled edges to slightly fit under the hair.
Shows Mcfarlane does listen to the fans sometimes .At least 2 major things people were complaining about this are fixed (Face sculpt and the legs).

Happy I got to get an 89 Batmobile but I might wait to see some reviews before I pull the trigger on the plane.

Nice thighs, ugly elbows, lol. If it was the 70's-80's, I'd expect a tiara situation like that. But the figure would be only 4"!! And, uh, that is not a good likeness to Ms. Gadot. Like at ALL.

Agreed. But I think by now, no one expects any of McFarlane's figures based on a real person to look like that person. This Wonder Woman may not look like Gadot, but at least she's not ugly and actually look like a woman.
