Check out The Fwoosh's awesome look at figure #2 in the soon-to-be-launched Club Infinite Earths - Red Lantern leader Atrocitus!
Finally, our Red Lanterns have a leader and this figure looks amazing! Sculpt and paint are awesome, plain and simple! Look for Atrocitus to be hitting mail boxes this June! Thanks to The Fwoosh! |
^^ Definitely a little small but still happy to get it. I mean he's not supposed to be Arkillo huge but he's definitely supposed to be a bit bigger than Skallox. Red Lantern Corps is definitely one team I wouldn't mind building on, especially since (Like Sinestro Corps/Green Lantern Corps) they feature mostly weird aliens that aren't just repaints.

Have you seen MattyCollector lately? They're now saying that Flash is going to ship like a week late. Again -- another delay. Absolutely amazing.

AFI member JuliusMarx came across Movie Masters Dark Knight Rises Batman and Bane this weekend while at the Frank & Son's Collector Toy Show and snapped some shots of the highly anticipated figures, which will be hitting retailers later this month!
Check them out! I seriously can't wait to build that working Bat-Signal! :D |

Check out The Fwoosh's in-depth look at the 3rd figure offering from Mattel's DC Club Infinite Earth - Star Man (AKA : Thom Kallor)!
The figure sports a neat see-through sculpt and an equally nice paint job that does his comic counterpart justice. His sole accessory, however, is simply an interchangeable head. Still, this is a nice looking figure and one I was very excited to be recieving after the figure was unvailed at last year's SDCC! Club members can expect Thom Kallor, the former Legionnaire turned Justice Society member, to be hitting mail boxes in July! Enjoy! :D |

Who do you guys think will be the hardest to snag considering Jay sold out in under an hour. I am thinking the first oversized, Autrocitus, Poison Ivy, and Black mask will all be pretty hard to grab |
Speaking of Jay, has anyone gotten any emails from Matty reguarding of it shipping out, or anything? It's been a long time since I got any communications from them about the subscription.

01/03 - Notification that Club Infinite Earths figure #1 would be available 04/13 03/13 - Instructions for updating shipping & CC information for subscriptions 03/28 - Confirmation of delay from April to May for figure #1 04/27 - Notification of renewal of a subscription (?) Nothing since. Matty site said 05/15 online orders would ship 7-10 days after ordering, and they have previously committed to shipping subscription figures before filling online orders, so by that math our J.G. figs should be shipping before the weekend. (yeah, right.) |
Well, if you don't get one off Matty, I'm pretty certain I'll be selling mine.

Today, in DCUC News: Coming this July to DCIE and DC Fan's alike is the next offering from Mattel - Rocket Red! And The Fwoosh has our first in-depth look at the figure! One of the oversized figures being released through the club and MattyCollector.com, this is one awesome piece fan's have been demanding in the DC line for quite some time. He is based off the DCUC Wave 7 Atom Smasher figure and sports white metallic paint, great articulation and awesome little wrist blasters! The figure pays homage to its comic counterpart very well, although an interchangeable head would've been nice, as was done with Starman. This is a figure I am eagerly awaiting the release of, as I am a BIG fan of both Geoff Johns Rocket Red Brigade and the JLI. If I had to pick one thing to complain about however, it would be that this figure should've been the character comic fans are most familiar with, Rocket Red #7 - Dmitri Pushkin. This figure is based, however, off Rocket Red #1 - Josef Denisovich, who wasn't in the comics all that long. In any case, this is an awesome looking figure and I seriously can't wait to add it to my DCUC/DCIE/DCAS *whew* shelf this summer! Enjoy! |
Thanks, Prowl!
As little as I like Fun Publications, even their communication is better than Matty's. Also, I agree. Rocket Red should have been Dmitri. But this one still makes me happy. |
I got my Jay Garrick shipping confirmation this morning at 3:16am from Mattycollector.

Hey guys. Does anyone know anyplace to preorder DC Universe All Stars wave 1 and takes paypal?
|
Big Bad Toy Store takes paypal.
|
Not for pre-orders they don't. Credit card only for those. BUT, Fortune, here's an idea.
Buy something there with paypal and have it put into your pile of loot, cancel it and get store credit. Use that credit for the preorder for the Allstars. I'm not sure this will work without a credit card, but Paypal does offer a credit card. You can also buy a prepaid visa card and it'll work with that. There are lots of options that don't involve paypal, or a true credit card. |
where can a regular jo-shmo like myself get rocket red,e-2 flash, and starman figures without having to refinance my house...seriously.

NEW QUESTION! Does anyone know for sure we will be getting DC Universe All Stars, the lineup with Batman, Superman, Superboy, and Red Robin? A member on another sight is saying that the wave was canceled |
Quote:
Check BBTS. If they have the preorder, then it's definately still go. He's really good about taking down preorder listings when they're cancelled. |

Q4. So what is the deal now with the retail DC All Stars line? Most retailers canceled previous orders and set up a new solicitation for the re-worked wave 1, but aren’t taking pre-orders for the cancelled? re-worked? Series 2 and 3. A4. We have an announcement coming shortly, but due to the order cancellation, word has gotten out faster than we can get this announcement up. The All Star concept was a good idea but executed Band-Aid style. We’ve decided to hold tight until we can create the right line with the right packaging, etc. … For now, we’re going to finish up DC Universe with one last wave. |
If he didn't provide a source, I'd take it with a grain of salt. It sounds both old, and far more detailed than Mattel usually will say in a Q&A.
I've never seen them admit a fault like that with "executed band-aid style." I admit I could be wrong. |
Yep, pretty sure the "one last wave" he mentions is the Red Robin/Batman 52/Superman 52/Superboy Prime "All Stars" wave.
So they're still figuring out what they're going to do with the retail line for 2013 and for all the other figures we were supposed to be offered -- Flashpoint Plastic Man, Larfleeze, maybe even the Super Powers Penguin, black outfit Supergirl, etc. |
