Casting Cave already has molds of the Luke Cage head, so I could get one from them. I might need to do a few modifications to make it fit the Thor body, but I tested my Radioactive Man's head and it could work. Hyperion buck isn't a bad idea either, I just hate the legs on that figure with a passion, and really wish they would stop using it for characters like the Symbiotes. Only real problem is i've never done custom sculpting, i've only kit bashed a Dark Avengers Mac Gargan Spidey....... that I never even finished painting.
If I find the time, i'll give it a shot. I need to finish Gargan too. |
If anyone is sitting on any baf groot legs, lower torso, rocket head, or baf pit parts lmk. thanks.

New person here. Is there a site that offers casts of the Mcfarlane spidey head? Or maybe an imitation style sculpt that will work with the 6" scale?

Just letting everyone know...the Spidey wave is hitting TRU, as I ran into them tonight. I've posted a few pics over in the "Look What I Just Got." thread if anyone's interested.
Oh...and even if you have 20 other Spideys...DO NOT pass on this one. Pardon the pun...but he's amazing! |
I've had Spidey for a few weeks now, and I've already taken him apart to address some of his very few shortcomings (he is indeed awesome out of the box!):
Swapped out his pelvis and hips for Superior Spidey's, which have way better range of motion and shortens him up a bit because he's too tall out of the box: http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...e2ceb1768d.jpg http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...d8fe60c3c6.jpg Gave him a magnetic hand to do... stuff: http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...94767bab76.jpg http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...ce130616a3.jpg I'll be paint matching everything up this weekend, but yeah, as awesome and fun a figure he is, there were just a few tiny details on him that kept him from being dead-on perfect. He's so fun though (especially with his accessories) that I have a 2nd case of this wave coming this week! ;) Get this figure everyone! |
@ultraman zoffy
Awesome pics! Now I just need to find the money for a case. |
Got Thor, Hawkeye and Sentry today. Couldn't help but notice the similarities between Odin and Hershel on my shelf.

Saw 5 cases between 2 Targets and 1 TRU this morning,only got Thor as he is the only one I want,cool wave though,that Thor BAF head would make for a cool biker dude!
