So I'm not a big Red Hulk expert (I prefer my Hulks in Green and Grey) but apparently it is something he does. Like every Hulk he emits radiation but unlike the others when his emissions reach a high enough level it physically manifests like fire, thus Red Hulk would sometimes appear to be set ablaze. Really we all know they have him do it just because it looks cool but that's the reason I found after some light research.

I never saw them in stores and I can't justify the shipping costs online. Plus, my money has had to go to other things or something. Also, I'm not a big Iron Man fan. I only care about Iron Man in the movies, not the comics at all. Thus, he's not my priority.

Thor’s been under $20 for months and Iron Man can’t be more than about $25 even now... I feel like he’ll probably get a redeco with actual yellow limbs though. Both definitive versions though, if I were to have just one figure of each character (HAHA SURE) it would be the 80th versions.

I only bought Iron Man because I saw him loose (complete) at a toy show a few months back, for like $7. Thor I was willing to pay full price for, but thankfully my wife tracked him down for just under.

I want to pick up Steve, but those prices are friggin' ridiculous.

He was gray in Amazing Adventures #11-15 according to Uncannyxmen.net. I think I was thinking that he was gray during his Avengers tenure because the new head that comes with grey Beast looks like the artwork from that run of Avengers

The only time I saw Thor under $20 was on Amazon from a third party seller who was charging for shipping and it was right when the quarantines really kicked off and I had to save all of my money since I had no idea how things were going to go.

yeah- it was a very small period of time- but that combination of him being grey AND IronMan on the cover kind of sticks out... throw in an Avengers re-print and it's easy to fuddle with the memory of young comic readers- lol! :D

Ehn, well Legends aftermarket prices are all over the place any more and seem to be steadily climbing. I swear I've seen him and IM under or hovering around $20 with some regularity and very recently.

80th Thor has sold loose on Mercari and eBay for less than 20 bucks many times. 80th Iron Man sells for under 20 bucks shipped all day long. I picked up 80th Cap, 80th Thor and 80th Iron Man for just around 65 bucks shipped from Mercari. Cap is the most expensive it seems. Such a great set of figures. The Hulk from the Wolvie/Hulk 2 pack looks awesome with them.

Yeah all 4 of those are essential imho.
