It is because you watched the Spawn movie in the 90s.

He was a terrific clown in the old spawn movie so hellz yah.

Wild Child should be voiced by Bobcat Goldthwait. I will accept no substitutions.

Considering Wild Child doesn't actually speak, it'd be poor use of both money and talent.

Get Frank Welker or Dee Bradley Baker on that.

For some reason I wouldn't mind Gilbert Gottfried as Sugar Man.

Though looking at that figure... it looks like he wears the same outfit Duke Nukem does.

En Sabah Nerd 06-18-2020 06:03 PM

I do think they went overboard with Sugar Man's eyebrows on the BAF, at least compared to the original '95 story. I guess there's some later appearance I haven't read where he's got particularly bushy eyebrows.

I'm more put-off by whoever decided on the "chocolate milk mustache" deco.

In the normal verse i thought he did?

Earth-616 WIld Child does speak, but in AoA (Earth-295) he is quite feral. They never really delve into why this is so I would probably chalk it up to Dark Beast experimenting on him or something similar.

Found Marv-Ell and Rage!

And I'm turning right around and taking Rage back!

Godspeed. I’d rather die than walk back into a store and explain why I need to return a toy muscle man in a gimp mask and leather vest.

You should be made of sterner stuff, lad.

He's pretty feral and non verbal in the new Hellions comic

I read this in an inspirational Sean Connery voice yet still the fear grips me.

QC on this wave might be sub-par, I noticed yesterday that the hair on my Mar-Vell is rotated a bit compared to where it should be. The hair should be touching his left ear, there's clearly a spot in the sculpt for it, but mine has a half centimeter gap instead.

Isn't he also wearing a uniform closer to his AoA counterpart? As for his feral status, maybe the Five resurrecting him undid Alpha Flight's efforts to "domesticate" him. Thinking on it and doing a little research, my earlier post regarding Wild Child was misinformed. Kyle is naturally closer to an animal but through treatment he can become articulate, in the AoA he obviously never got this help.

He's pretty much in his AoA costume. Sage had been treating him but he wasn't actually taking the pills

Almost finished

To be fair, the artwork in the Sugarman story was dreadful, so Hasbro probably had to spend a lot of time just figuring out how he was even supposed to look. He also had blue eyes in AoA.

Aaaaaa! Chris Bachalo is amazing! i love his stuff- Gen X was really my favorite AoA title just because of his work. But.. he does have a very, VERY distinctive style that tends to be "love it or hate it"
... and for SugarMan's voice I always hear George Lopez. Probably because of his SharkBoy and LavaGirl character...

Putting together an evil version of the famous Avengers shot and found that Hawkeye has NO Marvel Legend nemesis. So i petition that CrossFire get on the "needs to be made" list. If SpyMaster could get made then surely there is room for Crossfire!

He's one of my favorite artists, I love his take on Psylocke and Death from the Endless. His run on Generation X is some of my favorite comics

I guess it's not out of the question that we could see Crossfire made, although like Spymaster he would no doubt be considered an odd inclusion by most. As for more prominent villains, I'm still wondering what's taking Hasbro so long to update Kang. I'm also still waiting for High Evolutionary.

Anyone know what the hell is going on with Hasbropulse? Seriously.

Its been a week and a half since I ordered something off of their website.

I sent an email to their customer service for like the fourth time.

Where the hell are they? Anyone actually working at Hasbro Toy Shop/Pulse?

Their website does have a header saying shipping may be delayed thanks to Covid. My guess is they're either having staff issues, are way behind on orders, or limit their shipping to one day a week.

Hellz yeah. Lowkey I need Cross for Hawkeye and SHIELD.

They also need to do a better release for classic Hawkeye, maybe with the skycycle I feel like I've heard vague rumors about in the past few months.
