Aaaaaa! Chris Bachalo is amazing! i love his stuff- Gen X was really my favorite AoA title just because of his work. But.. he does have a very, VERY distinctive style that tends to be "love it or hate it"

Does anyone else's grey Beast have a chunk of plastic missing around the swivel on the back of his right thigh? It's not a super deep cut, but it's about an inch long and the exposed blue plastic is really unsightly (it's one of the few parts of the figure made out of blue plastic, since it's a piece that's mostly his blue trunks). I compared it to blue Beast, though, and there's definitely missing plastic, not just missed paint.

To each their own, but I'm still head over heels for the Generation Next art, just like I was when I originally read the stories as a kid. Bachalo's definitely more stylized than many artists, and I prefer his 90s work to a lot of his more recent stuff, but I think Gen Next was beautiful.
