It appears to be based off of his "Heroic Age" appearance and goes along with their release of Mockingbird in the Red Onslaught wave. Though the costume's not that appealing and close enough to Bullseye's look from "Dark Reign", so most just fudge him in there.

The real tell, that this is actually Clint and not Bullseye, is the figure's exposed skin on the non-armored arm. Clint's known for his "Sun's Out, Guns Out" aesthetic, but Bullseye's "Hawkeye" costume actually covers the skin of his entire body sans eyes and mouth, a mirroring of the degenerate's classic costume.

Ahh...thanks for clearing that up. I did like many others and have been using that Hawkeye as Bullseye thinking that was the intent.

Is it me...Did Elektra lose a shoe there, or did the someone forget to fill in her boot?

I noticed that too! I feel like being a barefoot assassin in New York would end up with your feet covered in broken glass and hobo urine...

If you're lucky that'll be the worst

Who’s the Primate with the guns? Hit monkey start juicin’ ?

Dr Kain 06-20-2020 11:41 AM

Can I just say that I am sick and tired of going to a Walmart every other day and not finding Black Widow? It's pissing me off. In the last two weeks I have gone to 11 different Walmarts without success, three of which did not even have a single Marvel Legend at all (one didn't have any Marvel figures period).

Benn Roe 06-20-2020 12:38 PM

Have you thought about calling ahead? I don't ever go to a Walmart, Target, or Walgreens unless I know they have what I'm after.

Gorila-Man, he is significantly older than Hit Monkey and also an ape not a monkey. In the modern era he is primarily associated with the Agents of Atlas.

Mallah was always a gorilla who gained super intelligence through science, Gorilla-Man was a man who killed a magic gorilla and was turned into an ageless gorilla himself but his intellect remains normal. Also I acknowledge your correct identifying of the species and I thank you for it.

I tried that once. After 15 minutes of waiting for someone to pick up my wife and I drove to the store (10 minutes away) and I kept the phone on. When I got to the store the phone was still ringing so I walked up to an employee and asked if they wanted to answer the phone before they helped me. You should have seen the look on their face when I was the one who responded.

Benn Roe 06-20-2020 04:29 PM

Fair. I've had a few similar run-ins with give-no-fucks employees, for sure. The usual outcome is five minutes on the phone to learn they don't have what I want, though, with the second most common result being a short call that leads to me actually making a drive to pick up the figure they've just put on hold for me.

I just meant that mallah is a gun toting gorilla and as is gorilla man....not their respective origins. And ya welcome. :)

Damn, Kain. That’s pretty brilliant. I’d pay to have witnessed that.

sh002 06-20-2020 09:22 PM

Nice Wolfsbane. I need to make one before Strong Guy gets released.

lmao I got the idea from a coworker of mine who lived down the street from a TRU store and he did the same thing.

I don’t know many retailers that staff their stores to have someone always available to answer phones for people hunting product. It’s usually someone bouncing between, 2-3 other tasks, and doing the best they can. All retail run with a tight labor model, some tighter than others. Besides, 9x out of 10 the person on the phone has no clue what figure I’m asking about anyways. I’ll call Target from time to time because someone is usually manning their electronics desk, but forget about Walmart... not worth the effort. Walgreens isn’t much better, and no one I’ve ever spoken to was aware of the line, exclusivity, or characters.

Definitely call GameStop though before trusting their website, though it’s usually accurate for the most part.

Finally decided to paint a Dani red for X-Factor Jean... means Hasbro should announce her official figure any moment now.

Where’s everyone getting that Beast head? Are there casts of the smiling head with glasses?
