The announcement of this year’s SDCC exclusives is like the theatrical release of “the New Mutants,” if it ever actually happens, the world will end.

I thought they were gonna go ahead and release it with SDCC at home on Pulse. Oh hell...did I dream that?

No, I’m pretty sure that’s what they’re doing, but it’s funny they haven’t announced what the set IS yet.

I was looking at past years, and it seems like they usually announce the Marvel Legends SDCC stuff around the end of June, so I am expecting they are saving the reveals this year for Marvelous Monday on July 6th. I really hope it is a Hellfire Club 5 or 6 pack.

yeah all but spider-man the one i wanted most, which i got eventually but still, he might be released on the retro spider-man's body.

I think it's highly possible, but we are still definitely in pure speculation at this point of course. There's the shot shown on the legends video a few weeks ago of a shoe that very much looks like what Sebastian Shaw would wear. That's not very solid but it's the main core of the speculation.

We do know they indicated that the exclusives would both me X-men related, one for comics and one for the films. As a theme, Hellfire Club wouldn't be easy to market to regular retail but as some kind of online/con exclusive it would be.

All pretty shaky evidence but I really hope that's what it is. I hope i can get a hold of one.

Maybe they might put the rest of the serpent society in a set?

Truthfully if it were something off the wall like that I might buy one just to video me melting it to show Hasbro what I think of those ideas, but they wouldn't care, they'd already have my money.

No no no, I was thinking single release since they're running out of Wolverine variants to shoehorn into the waves. At no point in the live stream did they say that the teaser image had anything to do with the SDCC exclusive, they could just release Shaw in a regular wave considering he's the big bad in one of the current X-Books

Still messing around with the FC team... swapped out Bobby for his retro counterpart and gave him some snazzy new boots. Also brushed him in white to give him more of a 'snowman' look...
