I really hope that US Agent is in his classic Govt costume that he sported when the Govt assigned him to be a member of the WCA. Any other look would be so dissapointing.

As far as movies I actually thought looks wise January Jones was an excellent pick for Emma, too bad the acting wasn't the same. |
If I were to get a movie Black Widow, should I get the black version or the deluxe white version?

My all time favorite Marvel villians have always been the Sentinels & the classic "DOFP" 2 part story arc by Claremont/Byrne is the be all & end all of classic Dystopian Marvel futures as the concept of an Earth dominated by hundreds of thousands of mutant/Metahuman, 20ft hunter/killer robots just blew me away when I 1st read it as a young kid. Kate Pryde walking by a cemetery where you can see the names of many of the Sentinels victims has always made me wish that they had followed up with a mini series based on how the Sentinels were able to defeat/overwhelm & kill some of the powerhouses of the MU such as the Hulk, Thing, Vision & Ironman. I would imagine that after days of pulverizing countless Sentinels, that the Hulk was finally just overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of Omega Sentinels throwing everything they had at him or even a Nimrod Sentinel showing up & putting an end to the Green Goliath. Anyways, here's little scene where after putting up a good fight & taking out a Sentinel or 2, Spidey & Shang Chi were finally apprehended & taken to an undergound Sentinel metahuman base. Sunfire has been put on ice as well.

^ Nice corner display setup... and yah the Sentinels are the best. When I am doing displays with my MU figs having all my MU X-men fight my MU Sentinel is still the most fun I have displaying my figs... just wish I had more than one Sentinel though. My MU Sentinel also feels kind small next to my Legends X-men though.

Just reorganizing a few storage bins...
I give you, THE BUB SQUAD (aka that one Exiles two-parter) |

Sentinels, especially the classic versions, are 20 footers so ML line is in scale with them. |

On the subject of toys though, nice setup there. I'm particularly liking the use of the DCUC Mr Miracle's restraints for Spidey. |
You know, at this point I think I'm just going to give up on the Walmart Widow and wait for Hasbro to eventually reissue her without the jacket. Maybe they'll put her in a 2 pack with an updated red DareDevil.

A little while back, someone mentioned that Target has started putting their Comic White Widow figures on clearance, and I can confirm that to be true, as she was marked down to about half off at some of my local stores.
I came close to grabbing a couple for myself, but I then noticed just how badly miscolored they all were on the arms, legs and upper torso...leading me to believe that might be why they were marked down in the first place... |
I already have one Target Widow, but if I found her for like $5, I would pick up a few more just for the weapons.
|
Agreed. If I found a clearanced White Widow, she'd be a glorified weapons pack for me.

If the Deadly Origins Black Widow goes on clearance at my Target then I might get a few for customizing. I’ve seen her used to make a Firestar. I can use the upper arms especially for figures with jacket sleeve arms like Retro Dazzler and Rogue. I ended up using Deadly Origins upper arms for my grey Black Widow. The weapons and smoke trails can be used for other figures. Trim one of the pegs to the smoke trail and it will slot right into Cyclops’ visor.

Back in 80' when "DOFP" came out, characters like the Hulk & Wolverine were not written as these unkillable, can reconstitute from a droplet of blood like these writers (Peter David) in the 90s started to give them. Under Claremont/Byrne, Wolvie could only take so much damage before he would actually be in danger of dying. Hence the Sentinel flash frying him in "DOFP" & in a battle with the Hellfire club guards, he had to turn away from the gunfire so it only creased his side. In a battle with Ogun, it took him 2 months to heal from a sword being driven thru his trunk. Now he heals from that in minutes. Makes for a boring character imo. Same for the Hulk. Sentinels were like 20ft Terminators on steroids. They could withstand tremendous damage & still keep fighting & they had the numbers. I'd like to think that after a few days of fighting Sentinels & thrashing a squadron's worth, that the Hulk just finally got worn down & a combination of plasma beams, steel javelins darts, & just aN umpteenth amount of punches/kicks from multiple Sentinels, finally brought down the jade Goliath. Woulda loved to have seen a 2 part Hulk vs Sentinels comic drawn by Byrne back then depicting that battle. For the Thing, I think a triad of Omega Sentinels coulda taken him down. |

Find the Target Widow on clearance today, grabbed her for weapons, probably gonna repurpose her as Colleen Wing. Suggestions on how best to do that, IE removing the gear without damaging, etc.
