And just for clarity sake THIS is what a mullet is:

A mullet is a flared/feathered/spikey/flatopish style on the top, cut to shaven on the sides And a long style hair that is usually attached to the spikey top part and hangs down from that. Otherwise its just long hair. ;)

That's pretty defensive. I assume you take the mullet issue personally. That Wonder Man is clearly sporting a mullet. Long in the back, short on the sides, and he's got bangs. Mullet. Mullet. Mullet.
The mullet isn't so strict. I was taught that a mullet says "Business in the front and party in the rear".

This mullet is pretty much the exact same as the mullet on Wonder Man.

The thing you posted as an example of a mullet is not a mullet. That's just a bad hipster haircut.

Hulkwummy 07-07-2020 06:26 PM

Why not both long and short hair on two alternate heads? Best of both worlds.

I would be happy with that.

Nah not personally. I always always associated the mullet as a shaved sides, spikey or flaired out on the top and long in the back. Anything else has just been longhair though the 70’s and 80’s really were just a mess All around haha.

Licensed Hairstylist here. Middle pic is a mullet, last pic is a grown out mohawk

No guarantee of a Hellfire Club reveal. Could be the sentinel, could also be what ever the biggest BaF ever is

Keeping it on Legends, Endgame final battle Thor is my most wanted Marvel Legend.

Never watched that Avengers cartoon either, but we just Disney+ from my wife's parents, and both series are on there, so I will probably watch them at some point after I finally finish Ultimate Spider-Man (was in Season 3 when Netflix took it off) and watch Silver Surfer (been watching it in shitty TV rip AVI files from 15 years ago).

Although, honestly, the reason I never watched Wolverine and the X-Men is I heard it leaves off on a cliffhanger that never got resolved because the show was canned.

Always thought the Silver Surfer animated series coulda been better if they didn't go with the Kirby animation. Imo, it didn't translate well into animation. The CGI for Galactus was dumb as well.

That's one I never watched

Film and television are definitely subjective, however, I believe EMH is the better of the two. You are correct about the way Wolverine and The X-Men ends, but man is it a treat to get to that point. I like to think this show is the prelude to EMH. They were trying to be different than X-Men: The Animated Series, while still giving us the X-Men we love. Everyone has their moments to shine. I would say the standouts are Wolverine, Professor X, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Nightcrawler (maybe my favorite), Magneto, and Kitty Pryde. The only thing that bothers me is Wolverine being the leader of the X-Men, but even that fits the narrative of the story. I truly believe this show is right up there with The Animated Series. If there were ever two series Disney Plus should revive its this and EMH. If you ever check them out, let me know what you think.

Veronica Mars 07-08-2020 02:33 AM

I was so disappointed when the ended EMH just to replace it with Avengers Assemble

warmachine6 07-08-2020 03:35 AM

^Same though i feel like the ending of the EMH was rushed or that episode was pre-made just in case they got cancelled. It makes no sense to why they changed when they could have easily used EMH art style instead of assemble. There is an actual episode linking assemble to EMH which was molecule kid and i saw the emh art style via a flashback, i was like this is making my blood boil...

There was so much story left to be told. Think of the stories they’ve tried telling on Assemble and replace them with EMH, and you’ve got gold. Introducing Doctor Strange and The Inhumans. I absolutely loved how they used the Fantastic Four and Dr. Doom. Oh my goodness, I even forgot how they used the Guardians of the Galaxy. I still watch EMH every weekend with my kids. Every time I turn it on I think of how great it was and what could have been.

The one of the bummer parts about WatXM was that it FINALLY gave us the most accurate interpretation of Nightcrawler, and gave us multiple episodes that showcased him ("X-Calibre", "Greetings from Genosha", and "Hunting Grounds"). I loved the Nightcrawler episodes in the original series, and he was fun in Evolution, but this was the first time I really got to see him being the swashbuckling hero that he was originally written as, and he got a romantic subplot with Wanda (which, as a fan of Nocturne in the Exiles, was just pure sugar).

And then the series got canned. Thanks, Perlmutter.

I loved Nightcrawler's story on that show, they did a lot of good things with a lot of the characters, not Psylocke or Domino but a lot of the characters

Agreed. And even though there's a number of characters they did little-to-nothing with, the fact that those characters even made it into animation in any significance (Domino, Mercury, Dust, MARROW) was a little bit of a treat. Really reminded me of the "random side-character mutants walking around in full costumes" moments from the original series.

Was just reading over on fwoosh, apparently Dorkside is getting/has gotten (not 100% of today's status) the Strong Guy wave and they may even start shipping it before the week's out. That is extremely good news. The wait for the sacred email begins!

Ow! My credit card

Boy Blunder 07-08-2020 11:21 AM

...kinda glad that we preordered it through Amazon, then. Don't have the scratch at this very moment.
