That's the nature of surprises, I guess.

Thanks for the replies... totally gonna try it out now since I have an extra Psylocke anyway.

And I am kinda underwhelmed by the Haslab Sentinel... maybe if the Mu/DoFP Legends version didn't already exist than I would have been more wowed by having a gianormous Sentinel.

My only other piece of advice is to use a blow dryer to heat the parts, not hot water

tierneygreen 07-10-2020 05:43 PM

Pulled the trigger on the Sentinel. There's no way it doesn't hit the minimum target. I was probably going to commit anyway, but now I'm super curious what the additional tier add-ons are going to be.

Robb 07-10-2020 05:45 PM

I know a lot of people are excited to get this Sentinel. But for me it is a lot of money on one piece that you have to have somewhere to put it. I think it would have been better to do a play set such as Danger room, a lab for Reed,Tony or Pym. With the play set it could be designed to fold or take apart when not using. I think they could do a really good one for $100.

How a Black Knight vs Dreadknight sword fight would end.

Put the Sentinel in your bed. You can sleep outside.

Despite my saltiness of the reveal this morning...there was some goodness waiting for me when I got home.

Definitely getting a second set of these to display in the packaging. This hits the right nostalgic spot for me...

I just want my Green Goblin to ship!!! Where'd you order from, if you don't mind my asking?

It was my preorder from BBTS. Wasn't expecting it till September, when I suddenly got a notice that it shipped about 4 days ago, arriving today.

The cardbacks are just about flawless too. .I'm really debating opening these as I want another set to keep on card for display. I just dont want to wait until September for that to happen!

Man that's awesome, and they do look great! I had Kingpin and Mysterio preordered but cancelled them, wonder if they'll hit every character from the Animated Series line...

Damn those kiddie friendly pantywaists. How dare they not include bloodspray and gore with their stuff. Shame on them.

Ordered 2 Sentinels earlier today. 5,062/6,000 backers so far.

I’m looking forward to the House of X/Powers of X figures since there will be a lot of them in specific costumes that I want.

Something this big, if I wanted to go for it, I would of course discuss with my wife before pulling the trigger on, because regardless of your financial situation, that's still a big wad of cash. Because she'd do the same with me if she wanted to buy something that expensive.

It's called communication and being adults. If your significant other is that derisive/antagonistic towards you over the hobby, you need to reexamine the relationship and talk to them about that, not play it off like "ha ha married life am i rite".

Thank you. They're either jokes, in which case you need new material, or it's real, in which case you need to grow up. My spouse and I live with the understanding that we can get whatever we want as long as the mortgage is paid and no credit card debt is accrued.

My studio is already packed to the brim.My marriage is solid and my wife is cool with my hobby. It's just a lot to pay for one figger!
Btw...I can't help but notice two of my fave Arkers have not chimed in? Blue Marvel? DTL? Y'all out there?

After a month of dating I showed future wife my budding Hot Toys collection. Her response was "you could spend your money on worse things."

What a keeper.

So once they announced the Sentinel yesterday I came to some decisions based on my collection. I love Marvel, always have. But I think I'm going to focus my Legends collection on X-Men and really, really trim the collection down. Once I figure out what I'm selling, I'll post here first since Facebook is always a bit if a crap show. Some of my higher priced items are getting cut, like Dragon Man, the Watcher and some others. I'll keep everyone posted.

I’m interested in buying your Watcher for a reasonable price. That’s one figure that Hasbro should make.

I’m in the market for Uatu when you post it. Wife wants that one.

Don't they teach you millennials about dibs in civics class any more?
