Where can I get that head, and would I have to paint it myself?

Most definitely! I've been championing for ol' Skeeter for far too long. Though kinda glad that they never got to her now, if it means we get her on a newer, refined body.

The spikes could definitely be a problem, if translated directly as-is from the comic. Though I see Hasbro probably skipping the super-pointy shiv aesthetic for slightly upraised and rounded sculpted points/bumps along the body.

In a sense, it kinda feels like they have retired that body. When was the last time they used it? A-force She-Hulk?

?

That would be an okay compromise as I could totally understand there would be so much more work to get the spikes done, and it wouldn't really be of use for another figure.

That looks like the same custom head that I have which was done by ibmmt. He paints them himself and typically only sells through eBay. This particular one ran me about 30 bucks, but was well worth it, as I loathed the one Hasbro put out and the new one with the grey beast doesn't do much for me either.

He hasn't posted anything there in a long while, which might mean that ship has sailed...but he does have an IG account. You could always shoot him a DM and ask.

There are all kinds of new Beast headsculpts all over eBay, some painted, some not, with varying prices. Try a search there as well.

Wow, how were you able to get him to balance like that? Not to mention balance long enough to get a picture in.

All righty, thanks for the head's up.

...

Pun not intended. But not condemned, either.

A shot like this requires pure fuckin force of will. Must have been annoying.

...no it doesn't. Unless the joints are loosey-goosey, it just requires some patience and some trial and error.

Yeah from ibmmt like what Trivial Psychic mentioned.

Careful posing and balancing.

Only 2 minutes to adjust to get Beast to balance. The pose where I had Wolverine stand on one foot on Beast’s hand with extended arm took longer to adjust and balance.

Yeah, I've tried patience, but I can't get Beast to balance for crap.

No additional tiers for the Sentinel after 9,000.

All that means is they only had plans pre-made for up to 9000. They have made several comments on Instagram to people asking about additional tiers saying various versions of "stay tuned for more".

Thor Laserpunch 07-15-2020 04:04 PM

Second Venompoolized Sentinel to be added.

Did you order a case at Dorkside or a set of the wave? I ordered 2 sets of the wave but no shipping notice yet. Maybe Dorkside is shipping out cases to customers first or it’s because you live in the same state.

Continuing my Sentinel vs everyone battle

Shinzero02 07-15-2020 08:26 PM

So the Magneto Family set is back on Amazon with an estimated delivery date of sometime between the 17th of July and mid-December. Neato.
Either way I finally got around to ordering.
