I only collect the single carded (MOC) ones too. I'm down to the very hard (if not impossible) to find Luke Cage (white tank top), Black Widow (both blonde & red short hair), Black Panther (black eyes) and Vision (Phasing variant glossy version #92330 on the card).

3233rafael 11-09-2013 06:06 AM

^ Oh, and of course Alpha Flight Northstar... but that one should be easy to get.

Meaning yea it's hard to find, but I actually had someone on another forum offer me an omega red for either my Blade, Solid Vision or if I could get a SDCC human torch. Really? It's not worth any of those figures. I watch people saying "I have an extra Omega Red, will only trade for both Dagger and Abomb and just stupidness. What do you guys think?

Stuff like Solid Vision is just people being crazy. I can see trading for either Abomb OR Dagger 1-for-1. I had a spare Dagger and would have traded it for a figure from the new wave. Both are recently released (still shipping) and both are one per case. We don't know how many cases of either will eventually be shipped. Variants like Abomb are likely to be harder to get in the long run but right now they are all about even.

That's what I'm saying. He's not up there nor do I feel he will be. But you have to see it, people asking if I have figures like sdcc exclusives or NYCC exclusives,

Well, not much info on Black Panther unfortunately other than the fact that it was confirmed on the list of variants from a fellow member of toyark a few years back and the list was approved by trebleshot, so, I trust it exists. I will say this... I'd pay a lot of pesos if anyone is interested in selling me any of those variants I mentioned.

Dork help needed.
1) anyone have any good images of Baby Nathan with glowing eye , like from the Liefield days?
2) anyone know of any marvel heroes /alter egos that were artistic and able to draw?
There is this great local artistic who has fantastic renditions of marvel heroes , and she offered to draw my family for a cool photo for a good price. Any ideas?
Bmorr she's in Boston, stuff is right outside of North Station

2) I believe Captain America and Colossus have both been shown to be artistic during one or another writers' runs.

Meow Mix 11-09-2013 06:55 PM

Good start, thanks. Checked google images and there wasn't a whole lot.
Colossus....great idea. Any women?

I for the life of me cannot find leader, red skull, or a dark elf. I did manage to snag abomb and dagger at target today though. Also watched thor 2 last night, awesome movie. I'm hoping the avengers toy line that replaces MU can be as good as the movies. The new xmen trailer has me looking forward to the xmen toyline too.

bmorr 11-10-2013 06:51 AM

yeah stores here barely even stock the avengers assemble figures.isnt this the line they are trying to push after MU is gone?

No this line is just to support the cartoon and truthfully IMO those 5POA figures are what is ruining the stores stocking the good versions. The MU replacement is Avengers Platinum or Universe or something like that.

MADREVJACK 11-10-2013 08:31 AM

I thought they were calling the new line avengers assembled, could it be I'm in correct?

BAD MOON 11-10-2013 08:36 AM

My birthday haul!!
Saw Thor: The Dark World last night as well, which totally ruled.

My local Fred Meyer had like three Leaders. I've also seen Red Skull more than once. If I find one of these want me to grab you one?
