Completely fair, especially considering how excellently the Gamestop exclusive sold. Might’ve had more to do with the particular suit choices, combined with the overall lukewarm reception to Demogoblin as a BAF.

It’s odd that that was a character Dwight mentioned specifically as being a potential place for a furry body. He might’ve just been spitballing.

The only time Tigra was shown that hairy was in the Avengers United They Stand cartoon.

I definitely get the concern about reuse, you'd use the body for Feral, Thornn, Tigra and Wolfsbane, and then what? Maybe Nina Price? I know Dwight mentioned Hephzibah, but she wears more clothes than the other characters mentioned

Sold 1 BAF Sentinel. That money will go towards another DOFP Sentinel or help with the cost of my Haslab Sentinels.

I would still love a separate release of Shadowcat and charred/skeleton Wolverine.

I'm just excited Shadowcat is on the radar!! Here's hoping for an EXCALIBUR box set!!

I’m hoping the Moostone reuse is for Meggan, and that an Amazon Excalibur boxset is coming toward the end of the year, consisting of Captain Britain, Phoenix, Meggan, & Shadowcat.

Them letting us know Galactus was/ is still being considered for a future project is nice, gives me time to save up the thousand dollars he'll cost :D

Bo Ttef 07-19-2020 02:26 PM

no plans for Wolfsbane seems pretty odd considering the parts available to make an X-Factor version seem to already be available (mostly) AND she was a big part of X-Tinxtion Agenda as well... (though not as X-Factor)

It's also possible they'd use the Moonstone body for Meteorite, since it's the same character, just her Thunderbolts alias. Having already used it for Scream, they could also use it for Agony. I could see them using it for Moon dragon, comic Sersi, Volcana though she might be a bit obscure, possibly Namorita I guess.

But X-Tinction Agenda lead into the new X-Factor right, it was during X-Tinction Agenda that she ended bonded to Havok right?

It sounds like we won't be seeing anything from the new MCU since they mentioned being able to make them more movie accurate thanks to the delays, I don't see the studio wanting leaks and spoilers via the toy lines.

As far as a furry female body goes, most of the time Tigra isn't given much texture, it does depend on the artist and the situation, there are times where she lost control of her powers and went "savage"

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...8b1691aa_o.png

Feral is more often given a furry texture but again it's artist dependent

I think Wolfsbane is the one that is consistently drawn

How much are you looking to buy the Amazon Sentinels for?

Where did you guys hear that there will be no Wolfbane figure and that Shadowcat is coming out?

Ok grandpa. The Marvel Legends team did an interview with Boog_ACBA and durning the interview they mentioned that early on in the planning process for the Sentinel they discussed Shadowcat as a pack in with the Sentinel. Later in the same video, that is posted a few pages back, they were asked about X-Factor Wolfsbane, and one of the guys said you got the parts to make her with Moonstar, and that they don't have a furry female body at the moment but were looking into it for Feral, Wolfsbane, Hepzibah and possibly Tigra

The gamerverse toys sold fairly well. I think the issue with demogoblin wave was gamerverse figures were the double pack, so there were a lot more of them out and about. Anytime a figure is a double pack it gives the illusion it’s the shelf warmer.

You sold THAT Sentinel to buy a MCU Sentinel that has way less POA & looks nothing like a true DOFP Omega class Sentinel??? Sorry, but the TB Sentinel is still superior to any & all other Sentinels, including the Haslab one imo. I used to own 3 but about 10yrs ago, I regrettably sold off 2 at a bargain basement price of like $45 each & just kept 1. Of all the figures I've ever sold off, I regret big time selling off those 2 Sentinels. The TB Sentinel is just awesome & very menacing looking when posed with the 3/3/4 MCU fig or the 6' ML figs.

Is that why my Walmart still has a literal dozen Gwenpools?

There was a recently published interview with the ML team where Dwight expressed that “there is a Wolfsbane figure,” to which the interviewer explained that many want a full, X-Factor Wolfsbane. To this point, Dwight explained that they have been looking into a furry female body mold, but are uncertain about expending the money for tooling, as it has limited applications. I think it’s likely they relent on this point, as they have mentioned they are paying strong attention to what the fans want. Within this same interview, it was mentioned that Shadowcat was considered as the pack-in figure with the Haslab Sentinel. This means she’s on their radar as a needed figure, and them choosing not to release her by this avenue suggests she’ll be coming from elsewhere sooner than later. Due to mentions of more boxsets coming, many are speculating/ hoping that she could be in an Excalibur boxset.

^ Some nice info there... yes... c'mon Hasbro... do it... I need Shadowcat.

Mah... the Toybiz is a great figure but it's so skinny it looks silly with legends.. The two I have look great with the 4in marvel universe figures- but for my 6in guys it has to be the newer hasbro version.

yup- it led to the complete rebuilding of the X-Universe in the 90's era teams we all know and love (well- most of us- lol) Yeah- the bonding thing... forgot about that. That was a big deal for a bit but I don't remember it getting addressed much after that. Not sure when I stopped reading X-Facotr but it was well into the run... maybe after the Mystique/Forge era. I think I gave up on it at issue 145 and then it ended at 149

There was a villain named Haven that fixed it, and not long after Rahne left to join Excalibur

We *need* a Haven figure to recreate that scene! I'll take a Haven, would you take a Haven? Everybody will take a Haven!

----I don't really expect Haven to ever be made, but it would be some deep diving.

It's a great & faithful rendition of the "Rover" Sentinel. Really don't see it looking "skinny". 15yrs later, it's still the best BAF in the TB line & the joints are as tight today as they were when I bought it back in 05'. Haslab Sentinel s too rich for my blood & my #1 Sentinel that I want to see Hasbro tackle in the same scale as the TB Sentinel are the real DOFP classic Omega Sentinels as depicted by John Byrne.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hasbro also take a stab at these Sentinels that Shaw created back in 92', they pretty much decimated the Reavers in their debut.

They also killed the shit out of the Hellions... who I would not mind a boxset of (or a single release of a male and a female Hellion, with a bunch of swappable parts).

Not before we get some classic Reavers for the Sentinels to snuff.
