^ Oh wow... the blue on the new head matches the shiny blue on the BAF body... I like it!

Spyne98 07-23-2020 12:45 AM

Oh man! That AoA Apocalypse is looking great!!!

Shinzero02 07-23-2020 12:55 AM

Kinda surprised they went with another Wolverine and Prof. X 2-pack and not a 3-pack with Laura.

Captain Nash 07-23-2020 06:18 AM

I know in typical SDCC weeks we would start seeing some previews today, of course this year is very different. We did just get a ton of stuff revealed Tuesday, so I wonder if there's just going to be one livestream and I wonder whent that is.

Ultra Seven 07-23-2020 06:33 AM

Hasbro mentioned that the “House Of X” was planned to be on display as part of their diorama, prior to their panel. Do we think that we could see those soon?

‘Nother bit of speculation: the figures they’ve already shown (on Tuesday and prior) was the stuff they would have revealed prior to San Diego Comic-Con, and we’re still in for a full SDCC-presentation. This may and may not be wishful thinking.

Gotta have something for 2021 and beyond. Laura and Wolvie Clone with stick cross accessory. Reavers guy and Caliban.

Dr Kain 07-23-2020 07:48 AM

Wait, Apocalypse is out already?

Benn Roe 07-23-2020 07:54 AM

"Out" is a really relative term with Hasbro. A few people have gotten their hands on him, but he's not supposed to be available yet. I feel like a handful of copies of most Legends figures find their way into the world a few months early. Erivera94 has just proven to have deep pockets when it comes to getting his hands on those early copies, so he can review them.

Really like this combo! Definitely will help those who weren't able to get the BAF head piece, too.

Captain Nash 07-23-2020 08:59 AM

I'm glad those heads are interchangable and there really wasn't any reason to think they wouldn't be, but you can never tell what craziness Hasbro might do! He's looking super awesome!

Captain Nash 07-23-2020 09:09 AM

Oh wow, no livestream this week or weekend according to a twitter shot a user over on fwoosh posted, per a tweet from Dan Yung yesterday. I don't have twitter, otherwise I'd post the shot myself, but that's disappointing. Ah well at least we won't be waiting for it and I'm sure there's good stuff coming in the months to come.

Much like everything else this year, this news comes as both surprising and disappointing.

Eh, first world problems, I guess.

Most everything else for sure. The legends that have been released have been the only real highlight so far this year.

I think that’s why I was more latched onto this than normal. It’s kinda the only thing I have going for me at the moment. I’m way more invested in watching panels, live-streams, and the like because I have nothing else to occupy me.

That said, obligatory UHF joke:

Same here for sure. While I've got it lucky compared to many and nothing BAD has happened - still have my job, no one I know well has gotten sick, things are stable with life, pets and loved ones, nothing really GOOD has happened either except what goodness is coming from this line. -- and i have no idea why this is saving this a an URL link.

Yeah, compared to others, I have no right to complain. I’m fine and stable, so are all those close to me.

... that said, I am still going to complain: They kept saying July was going to be “big.” Which I guess it was, but it proved really underwhelming for me since all they did was show off officially roughly half a dozen things we already knew were coming (Sentinel, Hellfire, Thunderbird, X-Force Psylocke, Fantomex).

Starlord67 07-23-2020 10:17 AM

So no other reveals for SDCC@HOME??? That can't be it!!

Yeah unfortunately, it's not someone over there just saying that he said it on twitter, they actually posted a tweet from him, so I think it's legit info. :(

Ultra Seven 07-23-2020 11:56 AM

Here is said Tweet, for the curious: https://mobile.twitter.com/DanYunIsT...37908315234309

That's crap!😭😭😭

StuartGreen2019 07-23-2020 02:17 PM

I'm torn on the Marvel Legends news. On one hand, I get it. We're in a pandemic, plans have changed, and they'll probably give us the next big reveals for August or maybe even October. On the other -- I was really, really, really, really, REALLY hoping for more. They said July was going to be big, but the only big reveals were the Sentinel and the Hellfire Club. And anyone hoping for anything non X-Men related got nada except for a possible Stilt-Man Build-A-Figure tease. We already knew about the FoX-Men and Deadpool reveals, aside from the Old Logan and Old Xavier "Logan" two-pack, and everyone is rightfully livid that the Storm/Thunderbird two-pack pre-order sold out to bots and scalpers in micro-seconds.

I'm hopeful the next big reveals are not X-Men stuff. I'm hoping for Spider-Man, but I'll take other retro, Iron Man and/or Avengers news and photos too. And I'm hopeful other Marvel Legends reveals happen sooner rather than later.

And as a P.S., I'm glad to see I'm not the only 'UHF' fan here. That's one of my all-time favorite films.
