Those pics were taken from erivera94’s video. I wonder if Wolverine will look ok next to Marvel Select Juggernaut.

He just reviewed movie Mystique and the likeness looks good too so I think all of faces of the Fox movie figures will look better than the product pics.

Looking at my email, Dorkside sent me 2 sets of the Strong Guy wave but left out my 2 Warpaths and Pirate Deadpools so I’ll have to wait to build Strong Guy.

Almost forgot about the Toy Fair 2020 fan poll. Seems like it was years ago. Wonder if we'll get some kind of update. The winner was supposed to be announced at SDCC, with the figure being released shortly after.

Idea for 90s X-Factor Wolfsbane figure.

Head - Walgreen Exclusive
Torso - 90s X-Factor Polaris (repainted)
Arms and Legs - New furry sculpt

Isn’t there supposed to be another army-building figure like the AIM and Hydra soldiers that Hasbro Pulse was going to reveal this year? I thought I heard that earlier this summer.

hasbroherofan 07-24-2020 09:25 AM

Dan Yun just posted this.

At this point, I'd absolutely expect it to be Hellfire Club guards.

I would expect it to be SHIELD agents if anything. I don’t remember hearing that though.

Pretty sure they said that the next army-builder would be something they hadn't done yet, which would kinda rule out SHIELD Agents (the 616 Nick Fury came with the basic armored SHIELD Agent head) and tip the scale towards Hellfire Club guards, especially since they'd tie nicely with the SDCC set.

Or they could blindside us with Hand Ninjas.

Captain Nash 07-24-2020 10:50 AM

Hand Ninjas had also been done, back in the late 00's. Or at least if not a multi pack one was packed in with someone, Daredevil I think.

I suspect it's likely Hellfire Club guards.

I've done some thinking on the fact there's no SDCC livestream, and I think for me much of the disappointment came from the expectation there likely would be. It's a big event for reveals and could have still been this year, but they're choosing to go another route and show us small portions of it, throughout the rest of the year. That's actually fine, it feels like after SDCC there's a bit of a drought of product and news, minus a couple of international cons, until NYTF. And who knows if that will happen next year. Honestly it's probably safer if it doesn't. we...and by we I just mean a general we, not everyone...have really bungled handling the virus here in the states. We should just get used to virtual events for a while and be happy that it's happening at all.

Sardonically and tongue in cheek, I'm seeing this as a Hasbro ploy to delay revealing Firestar yet again. I don't really mean that, it's just my humor of course, but I had to say it.

Oh damn. Well either one would be great. They need to do guardsmen at some point.

Thor Laserpunch 07-24-2020 11:36 AM

Is there an official name for the Jim Lee style head covering with the open face and hair poof sticking out on top? I know you guys would know.

I also thought it was a kind of cowl

Stilt-Man has me craving more Daredevil villains.

A cowl is a hood, like Dr Doom and Moon Knight wear, but these pieces deliberately avoid the top of the head.

I don't know the name of it but Jim Steranko started using it with Nick Fury in Agent of SHIELD in the 1960s. Jim Lee borrowed it to make the Gambit cool like Nick.

That’s better than skullmuff as I’ve been using.

Yeah it’s not unique to Jim Lee and there are earlier versions that may or may not cover the eyes but leave the hair poof on top like Mar-Vell, Clint Barton Goliath, etc.,but Jim Lee used it so often it makes me think he had some weird fascination with muffin-topped hair.

Just be glad you’re not wearing a croation made watch! ;)

Starlord67 07-24-2020 01:49 PM

So a variation of HASCON has been reported going July 29th-August 2nd in Hong Kong. Maybe we will get more reveals there?

Dodge76 07-24-2020 02:44 PM

I am not planning on getting a sentinel but if I was then having more info of whats coming could help make up my mind in maybe purchasing one with that huge price tag. Just saying.

Thor Laserpunch 07-24-2020 02:54 PM

You already got all the info on what’s coming...

I think they mean 'in general, for the rest of the year', not specifically what's coming with the Sentinel.

EvilMonkeyPope 07-24-2020 03:37 PM

Remy stole it from Warren Worthington III.

There is a character we need a new figure of!

Hulkwummy 07-24-2020 03:47 PM

Make sure the halo is on the red and white costume as well.
