Yep, pretty sure the "one last wave" he mentions is the Red Robin/Batman 52/Superman 52/Superboy Prime "All Stars" wave.

So they're still figuring out what they're going to do with the retail line for 2013 and for all the other figures we were supposed to be offered -- Flashpoint Plastic Man, Larfleeze, maybe even the Super Powers Penguin, black outfit Supergirl, etc.

ok. Thats very good. I was panicking for a second thinking I wasn't going to get my Batman

Well, it's now the end of Day 4 of Jay Garrick Watch 2012... tracking info confirms he originated in California 4 days ago and is now in... Nevada.

Only 5 more states to go, bud.

For a guy with super speed, he sure isn't moving very fast. At this rate, he should get here in about 20 more days or so. :koopa

Crazy Jetty 05-22-2012 10:24 PM

Well he's an old man, give him a break. He's going faster than normal old men do. :P

same here. What I cannot figure out is why did mine leave California... I LOVE IN CALIFORNIA!

Prowl 2009 05-23-2012 06:55 AM

Since I live in Ontario, I am guessing Jay will take at least 20 days to get here. The e-mail from Matty even said it could take up to 20 days for International customers.

Fortune 05-23-2012 12:07 PM

Just got my Jay Garrick today! SO Happy :pimp: :) :) :) :) :) :)

Prowl 2009 05-28-2012 08:28 AM

Check out these great YouTube reviews of the first 4 figures released in Mattel's Club Infinite Earths, done by Pop Culture Network Member, Pixel Dan...

Jay Garrick

Atrocitus

Metorn

Starman

Rocket Red

Nice job, Pixel Dan!

Falconhood 05-28-2012 09:16 AM

I haven't gotten the Flash sub-figure yet, but I'm curious to see how many stamps are on it since the total was $53ish..

Prowl 2009 06-05-2012 08:11 AM

Check out what Mattel had to say regarding our favorite DC figures during their latest Q&A session with TheFwoosh...

Q: Matty, the New 52 Batman is a great looking figure, but is there any reason he didn’t get double joints, or at least double knees? He seems to fit the “character selection” and “need for all-new tooling” that you guys have talked about when it comes to adding articulation…

A: This was a design choice.

Q: So, Jay Garrick was the first Club IE figure and, from what we can tell, he sold out really fast. Did he perform to expectations in regards to what is needed to grow confidence in the DC club?

A: He performed well, but the real indicator will be how well the 2013 sub sells.

Q: This is for the DC Retail line in 2013 – can you please confirm that the Four Horsemen will continue to do sculpting and design work for these offerings? In the past you said that the figures planned for retail in 2013 will “work with our existing collections” and that is just not possible without the 4H at the helm. Thanks.

A: Yes they will.

Thoughts on this latest Mattel Q&A?

ludovicotek 06-05-2012 08:42 AM

^ Not sure why they made the single jointed knees a "design choice". Seems like Batman would benefit from as much articulation as possible.

Crazy Jetty 06-05-2012 01:44 PM

To anyone who's gotten their Jay Garrick yet, can you confirm something for me?
Mine, it feels like the plastic quality of the figure is back up to normal DCUC standards (And not this rubbery plastic that made up the last couple waves, and all of Batman Legacy), however, I'm not 100% positive of that. Has this been noticed by anyone else?

The Fire Rises 06-05-2012 07:50 PM

I wanted to ask if anyone has the baseball bat from Harley Quinn Batman Legacy they would be willing to sell/give me? If anyone could help me out please PM me thank you so much!

Got mine yesterday and I would say that yes, the plastic used on Jay Garrick is back to the normal DCUC standards as far as plastic quality goes.

hrothgars 06-07-2012 08:10 AM

I got my reminder email from Matty Collector this morning that my card will be charged and a new figure will be shipped in a few days. I wonder if this is Atrocitus or Metron.

Thanks!
You know, everything is working out in the subscribers favor now.
We've got the only source for new figures. We're being charged less than retail for them. Plastic quality is back up to snuff (I doubt the DC Allstars will be). And nifty packaging.
Now all those comments like "Boy, you guys got boned" can go eat their false sympathies.
We win!

We're paying for shipping. That puts it way over retail. And we can't choose which figures to buy.

(Notice I say "we" -- I subbed too)

Crazy Jetty 06-07-2012 08:55 PM

The shipping works out better than constantly driving around every week hoping to find the latest wave. Shipping isn't nearly as aweful as everyone's been freaking out about. (Except for the canadians. And they usually have to have the retail stuff shipped to them, so it's not even that bad.)
As for not being able to choose? If you were after the C&C, you couldn't choose either. Half my collection are figures I didn't choose.
Beyond that, just the nature of these figures will make them easier to sell the ones I don't want, so that wins over retail, too.

Bubba304 06-07-2012 10:07 PM

I am a completest, I had to sub...still upset my two Jay Garrick's got sent to my old apartment in Virginia 4.5hrs away after I had sent two change of address emails and had it confirmed that my address had been changed....nope....had to go pick them up. I'm praying that the rest of my sub gets sent to me and not to some schmoe in VA.

There are several things I would change with the way they are running the subscription to make it better all around, I feel like they must be wasting a lot of payroll over there on doing things over and over again and again. So far I'm satisfied since I have my first two in hand finally, we'll see how I feel at the end of year one of the sub. I just got the email to renew...I'm kinda hesitant because this one just started, and I'm not thrilled with how some of these are looking, the sizes are outta wack for Rocket Red and Atrocitus, and I wish we got some accessories with them, maybe alternate set of hands or a figure stand, maybe an alternate head...something good. but happy with Jay so far!

That email you got is not telling you to renew for next year's subscription. It's an email alert to let you know they're about to bill you for the next figure (Atrocitus in this case). It's just worded really oddly in lawyer speak for some reason.

hrothgars 06-13-2012 07:33 AM

Got my invoice/receipt for Atrocitus & Metron today. It appears that they will be shipped together in the next few days.

Hey, DC Fans! This August will see the release of yet another Flash Rogue through Club Infinite Earths - the Evan McCulloch version of Mirror Master!

Check out AFI's in-depth look at this highly anticipated figure, featuring two open hands (unlike what we saw at Toy Fair in February) and reconfigurable mirror guns!

A welcome addition to the Flash Rogues that can't get here fast enough!

Enjoy!

hrothgars 06-13-2012 10:23 AM

Those saddle bag sidearm holsters look just a bit ridiculous when the guns aren't holstered, and who is going to pose this fig without his guns in his hands?

The Rouges might not look all that bad now with MM, Cap'n Booms, & Cap'n Cold. Maybe throw a CnC Grodd next to them to add some muscle. Zoom just adds some color since he is a bit of a free agent.

thechris 06-13-2012 12:57 PM

Color me old school but I prefer classic Captain Boomerang, throw in Weather Wizard, Heatwave and Trickster and I'll be delighted.
