I don't know. I got a call from Gamestop on Wed telling me my figure came in so I could pick it up within 48 hours. About 45 minutes later the employee called me again to say I actually can't pick it up until the 28th due to its hard street date. However, I also already have half of it paid off, so I'm not ordering it again.

Don't worry, if they do X-Factor Jean Grey she will probably be in a multipack with Cyclops.

sh002 08-15-2020 01:37 PM

2 Packs that I’d buy:

Lilandra and Deathbird
Toad and Avalanche
Mr. Sinister with calm face and Goblin Queen
Longshot and Mojo
Jim Lee Silver costume Storm and Jim lee costume Colossus
Ka-Zar and Shanna
X-23 and Daken
X-Factor Beast and X-Factor Marvel Girl

If and when the BAF Apocalypse is rereleased I’d want an alternate calm head and several alternate arm attachments.

I would definately buy a few of these! Deathbird would be a must for me. Avalanche and Toad would be to good to be true as they are both characters I really want. Goblin Queen would be awesome and I never picked up a Sinister so that would be a win for me. Same situation with Daken, who I really want, and X-23, still dont have one. Others I would be interested in could be:

Professor X (New X-men) and Cassandra Nova

Psylocke and Spiral

Destiny and Blob (re-issue)

White and Black Bishops (Christian Frost and Shiboni Shaw)

Multiple Man and Layla Miller

Captain Britain (Brian) and Meggan

Bo Ttef 08-15-2020 04:38 PM

Made a belt for Wolfsbane... now... should it be yellow of blue? I'm leaning towards yellow... but it shows up as blue just as much (and was blue in the animated series appearance...)

And I'd buy these...my only exception is a Blob reissue. I'd like to see a new sculpt with smoother lines (is this the right way to say that?)
Spiral and Psylocke- double win!!

Yes, definitely a Redo of BLob rather than a reissue. I could have easily completed him 13 years ago and chose not to. I think it was the lines of cellulite he had. I know he's fat but somehow it looks like Quietly somehow became a figure design artist (AKA, he looks like he has old cellulite.)

I'd be interested in all the others mentioned as well though.

Definitely yellow. Its breaks up the monotony of blue

Two packs, eh? Let's see:

Classic Rhino and Classic Shocker
Avalanche and Blob
Mastermind and Jason Wyngard
Lilandra and Deathbird
Prof X with wheel chair and Shadow King
Madame Hydra and Baron Strucker
Armin Zola and MODOK
AoA Magneto and AOA Rogue
X-Factor Wolfsbane and X-Force Feral
Alien Brood army builder 2 pack
Iron Man and Alcohol
Captain America (80th in lighter blue) and Agent 13 (in purple or green)

Target has Punisher up for order. Hope they ship to your zip code.

Boy Blunder 08-15-2020 07:13 PM

Stumbled across Bluepool, Black Tom, and Jeff (w/ Shiklah) at Target, so three down! The rest of the wave is still on preorder, unless we find them in the wild first.

Also, apparently they started selling Figuarts at Target? Because we got a DBZ Goku ("A Saiyan Raised on Earth" version) for $35?

kenm2474 08-15-2020 07:29 PM

Added Spidey 2099, Superior Ock, and Peter Parker.

Does anyone here have the Left and Right hands of Calibane? I can go to eBay but would like to spend money here in the Community here. LMK. Thanx.

Finally got around to properly opening up this set, and damn is it fantastic. The guys are really cool, but the Queens definitely make this set pop. Here are a few shots, and then a couple with the customs that I made this time last year. So glad for the official versions.:D

Also, I've already started working on upgraded Selene by swapping out the cape and adding Punk Storm's belt & Walgreens Emma's neck choker and ankle cuffs. Gives Selene some distance from the straight-up Black Queen Jean look.

Yellow. I used one of the boot cuffs from the X-men training uniform Deadpool. Perfect color and it fits.

I keep visiting the Target listings for Apocalypse and Punisher when it shows an add to cart button but it won’t add to cart meaning it’s sold out. I might just wait for my order from Dorkside for those two.

I think Selene and Shiklah share the same general face.

They certainly do, which is disappointing. Shiklah's has the added adornments for the character, but when comparing the eye, cheek, lip, etc. placement, they are dead-on. IMO, the Shiklah face is far too round for Selene's more severe/pointed look.

Some other things to note:

The Walgreens Emma heads won't fit right on the new body. They both sit way too high. Also, they switched skin tones between the two figures, so the difference is extremely glaring.

Shaw and Pierce both share the same torso as Nick Fury from the Captain Marvel wave under their coat overlays, sans ties.

These ladies look stunningly fantastic, but they have been a complete chore to get standing and posed. The heels and capes don't help, but disappointingly the legs on mine are super gummy, especially the Black Queen. We've had loads of females in heels, and I've never had this hard of a time just getting figures to stand.

That's what I thought the face mold was from as well, and I agree - aside form too much purple, the face is too round to be a dead on likeness. One thing I've always associated with Selene is how angular her face is, not really round at all. Still, much of the face does look like her, and it's all we're getting, and the outfit certainly works.

I don't understand why they keep using those Scarlet Witch heels instead of the Black Cat heels, the Black Cat heels balance way better

This 100%!! I've switched out all my high heeled action figures with black cats heels! They work so much better!!

WHERE did you get that chair? Did you make that whole set up? It's FANTASTIC!!

Dr Kain 08-16-2020 03:26 PM

Lame, popr said my Target had 2 Apocalypses in at 10AM. I go there at 10:20 and they're both gone. -_- Employee said he just sold them both to another guy.

Yeah, I'm grateful Hasbro threw her in as a pack-in. Definitely an easy kit-bash if you want to differentiate her from Jean. The face shape's just a minor nit-pick.

I seriously wonder if the molds for those heels were lost or destroyed. Odd for Hasbro to only put them out in one release and then never again.

Thanks a lot! The chair was a random Ebay find. The throne came with a little removable anime girl statuette. She was quickly dismissed to the fodder bin. The background's actually two of those McFarlane building sets from Game of Thrones that I merged together to create a larger room. It worked a lot better as a diorama when I collected the 3.75 scale, but it still gets its use every now and then. Also, the Hellfire Club emblem in the back is actually an embossed pin that I got in a blind box subscription service thing awhile back.

I need a Spider-Man for my Marvel shelf in my bedroom, preferably in the Marvel Legends/6 inch scale.

What Spider-Man figures in that scale do you all recommend, and why?

The new retro wave Spider-Man is tops, especially for the price-point. He’s super posable, with an excellent couple of headsculpts, and looks great displayed with other figures. I’d absolutely say he’s the best figure of Spider-Man ever made, especially representing a classic silver or bronze age appearance.
