Yeah, I'm really surprised he was the double in this case. Seems like the could have doubled anyone else for a better result. I'm already seeing multiples of him EVERYWHERE

If you do commissions, i'd buy one of those McFarlane styled heads for my Pizza Spidey. You nailed the shape and style perfectly, can't wait to see the finished version.

The Hasbro Toy Shop is taking preorders for the Spiderman Wave.

Spider-Man at HasbroToyShop.com | SPIDER-MAN 6" INFINITE LEGENDS 8-PACK Product Details

They are supposed to ship on April 20.

for that amount of time, why not order from dorkside toys or BBTS? they already have them in stock and ready to ship.

Great pictures! It's a huge shame that Hasbro can't fork a little more out and give Hawkeye a bow with real string instead of this plastic thing. I ended up giving him a bow from the LOTR Lurtz figure and an arrow from Legolas.

Sure it's not too accurate, but he holds it very well (got the arrow between his fingers, held up to his face, with the arrow tip through the mounting hole).

This will be a problem come time for the next waves

305Batman 03-22-2015 08:56 AM

And I didn't even mention the several GOTG Iron Man figs that were there too.

ultraman zoffy 03-22-2015 10:51 AM

Honestly, after observing how things move the last few years, I don't think Hasbro can win when choosing which character to include 2 per case each wave. No matter who they select, that specific figure will always peg warm simply due to the odds. If Daredevil in the Spidey wave was 2 per, he'd be sitting 3-4 deep alongside Hawkeye in every store right now. We're always going to want the hard to find figures, no matter who it is; that's just how collecting goes.

I already picked up Pizza Spidey and Anti-Venom at Target. I just thought that I would let people know.

Yeah, but they still could make better choices. If the Iron Man from GotG was an open mask MK43 it would have sold (or any other movie armor for that matter).

At least with the avengers wave its an Iron Man we all want (open mask) and a hulk that will move pretty well to collectors and kids alike.

TomsToyChest 03-22-2015 11:28 AM

I ran across Sentry yesterday. Now I can start building the AllFather BAF figure.

New accessories and features is exactly what they should be focusing on when redoing characters for the umpteenth time, you pretty much nailed it. Open masks or Stark heads for every Iron Man would a sensible move the same way adding a bunch of new hands to Iron Fist makes buying yet another figure on that old Bullseye buck easier to do.

I reckon at the infinity war time of MCU hasbro will give us swapp-able heads and hands for hulk just to keep us buying them

The other thing they can do is change the double-packed figure with each case revision which is what they appear to be trying with the new Spidey wave. The first release of the wave had double-packed Anti-Venom. However, if you look at BBTS, they have the Rev 2 case up for pre-order which swapped the double Anti-Venom for a double Spidey 2099. Not a perfect solution but at least an option.

The other thing to consider with Hawkeye is he is packed with the largest of the duplicate BAF pieces needed for both BAFs. What I wish they would have done with this wave was put an arm and a leg in the packs for Thor, Iron Fist, Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel. That way you would have gotten the extra legs needed for both BAFs without having to buy an extra Thor and Iron Fist. I still have not pulled that trigger. The only reason I have the extra Hawkeye was because I bought a case.

I knew I should've taken that right turn at Albuquerque!

matt3223 03-23-2015 05:43 PM

I know I for one am counting the amazon 4 pack as a must BUY.... thor is a BRAND NEW figure and the only version we have of him is already two movies outdated and this version is sleevless so custom options abound....i once dreamed of the unreleased Avengers Sleevless thor.... Hawkeye hopefully has an updated quiver to go along with that head....bblack widow looks to have new parts...and a Bruce banner figure will look great in my civilian collection that is very movie masters heavy...wonder if that line will continue?....

That's my number one want from ML. I'm hoping it's reasonably priced.

It's from the Mandroid BAF wave. She also comes with an Avengers hair style head as well, but the Winter Soldier version has the best aloof look to her.
